Christmas Jazzin' About Piano (Piano Solo)

Excellent Christmas book. Grade 3-4. Challenging melodies due to jazz but has Cd with it to listen to or play along with backing track. Piano teacher also purchased it and has widely used it with pupils.

Fun tunes - great to get festive playing these festive songs and carols.

Nice arrangements of Christmas music. However, I thought they were all piano duets. Was not aware that some were piano solos.

Recently returned to the piano as an adult after 10 year break from lessons. As a teenager I had jazzin about and jazzin about 2 both of which were great books. This book has several solo pieces which are not too difficult - some rhythms are challenging but key signatures are simple. There are also a number of duets but I have not tried these yet....need to convince my husband to learn the second part!

Suitable set of Christmas tunes.

We have just started to play these: they are really fun arrangements. and make a change from traditional Christmas carols on the piano. The duets will be perfect for Christmas entertainment. Difficulty : perhaps Grade 3/4ish,?
