Does NOT fit 2002 Ford F150
Does NOT fit 2002 Ford F150 front or rear shocks. Rounded sides are too far apart and flat sides are too close together.

The tool I got did not work for my application.
I like spending money on tools that work. Especially the right tool. This tool did not work for my application. The tool measured 5.35 mm X 7.6 mm for the Double D measurement. The drawing shows .55 cm X .75 cm. Not close enough. One of the bullet points shows: "Double D Compatibility: Use with 3/8 inch drive tool; Fits 6.1 millimeter x 8 millimeter Double D stem." Two possibilities. I took a chance hoping for the larger measurement. My measurement on a set of B8 Bilstein's was around 6 mm X 7.5 mm which did not work because the tools Double D measurement was 5.35 mm X 7.6 mm. I'll file it out eventually. I used a metric "crescent" wrench to hold the shock stem. It seems to always work.

Useful
These shock sockets are useful at times, but the socket that fits on the tip of the shock only fits certain shocks, unfortunately. It doesn't work on 2015 ford escape rear shocks. Had to go back to the old snap on the socket that has yet to fail me. I've had the snap on for over 20 years. It's ready to be retired, which is why I bought this one. But I'm going to have to find a snap on tool truck and purchase a new one. I don't want to trade it in. I have every tool that I have purchased in 36-plus years of being a master technician. When I retire, I will have every tool that I ever needed. This way, whoever I leave my tools to they will have a useless but great set of tools. I say useless because the world will be totally electric, and then all you will need is a good fluke multi meter, a soldering iron, and a few select tools.

Worked fine on Bilstein B4 for Audi Q5 B8, and for stock BTW, the B4 are slightly more stiff and responsive compared to the OEM, and you lose some of the plushness.
