Hi, You can purchase replacement blades directly from NWSL if you do not have a local hobby shop, crafts store or possibly here on Amazon. NWSL offers these in an pack of 8 blades or a pack of 75 blades. Other brands or types are not recommended. These blades remain very sharp for a very long time. Hope this helps you.

with a new blade, and a totally unused side of the cutting mat, and a better fence like a steel machinist ruler, you could probably cut 1 thousandth if you really needed to do that. you can easily cut .015 and .020 with the fences that it comes with. however, once you cutting mat gets notched your accuracy will drop.

Q: How thick of wood can this chop? I need to chop something 6mm

Probably not very well. It's only designed to cut up to 1/8", so 6mm would be nearly twice that, unless it's something very soft like balsa wood, but I wouldn't try anything harder like bass wood.
