Dr. Marten's 1460 Original, Men's Boots

Never tried a dm before but they were surprisingly uncomfortable with a noticeable seam between the tongue and upper shoe. The patent felt very plasticy so not what i was expecting. Not for me.

These will really hurt your feet when you first wear them. Once broken in they are very comfortable, and they are definitely built to last. The patent leather adds a nice modern touch.

This is the iconic work safety boot that became the 'bovver boy' boot. The quality is top notch, the fit perfect and the delivery was timely.

I am a true size 7 but knowing DM’s take so long to break in I always buy an 8 and pop in an insole they are then the perfect fit and hardly need breaking in . Really pleased with my patent DM They are soft on the inside and nice and shiny on the outside. They are a little tight on the top of my foot but with buying a size bigger this will I’m sure break in after a few walks so not worried at all. V happy

The boots arrived on time and within the predicted date. The boots are very comfortable and did not need to be worn in to become comfortable, only one tip to other buyers, as soon as you pull them out of the box, apply a leather moisturizer/waterproofer like dubbing or better yet Dr.Martens own brand of wonder balsam. These boots have been sitting in the box and the leather becomes really dry, you need to apply some protection to them before they soak in anything unwanted on a rainy day or a trek in the mud. Good fit, a tiny bit large but not an issue, i wouldve preffered if DM's come in half sizes. make sure you try on a DM sized boot in a shop before you order, DM's are wider than your average boot. I give this product 4 stars because i didnt receive the yellow laces that should come with the boots.
