Quality sink, beautiful and impressive too!
The quality of this sink is equal to or better than most bigger name brand sinks. Packaging was almost overkill. The sink was covered with protective film, wrapped in a cloth bag, protected by thick foam, and packaged in heavy duty cardboard box that was taped and strapped. They even provided cloth straps that can be used to carry and position the sink into the cabinet. This is a really nice and helpful touch. The brushed SS finish was flawless on the front apron and in the bowl. The metal is thick (16 gauge) and the dampening under the sink bowl is effective. You can tap on the sink bowl and it makes a solid sound - not tinny like less expensive sinks. Other nice touches include the included grate and drain (which I didn't use because of a disposal). This sink really looks impressive installed under-mount on a black quartz countertop. The large stainless apron really stands out as a kitchen focal point. This was my first deep bowl farmhouse sink installation. There are some things to look out for:1. I installed this 36" sink on a 36" cabinet. That meant I needed to cut out the side walls of the cabinet. I glued and screwed 2x4 supports under the sink to provide support. The sink itself is heavy and if it was ever filled with water, would be very heavy.2. To the right of my installation, I had a dishwasher. With the side cut out, I wanted to make sure I had sufficient support for the quartz counter. I sistered a support side wall between the sink and dishwasher. I would not have had to do this if I used a 30" sink but I do like the impressive 36" size.3. The deep sink means that a disposal sits lower. This also means your drain/trap will sit lower. Since the drain needs a small slope from the trap to the wall, you may need to lower the drain from the wall. In my case, I needed to modify the drain at the wall so this worked out.

Best decision I made about my remodel
I've had this sink for four years. I love it. It was one of the smartest things we did when remodeling our kitchen. I joke that you could bathe a goat in it, but, seriously, everything fits. My huge stock pots, roasting pans, sheet pans -- they all fit completely in the sink. I'm no longer reluctant to use my bigger pieces because washing them is so easy now.I find it more versatile than a double bowl sink. I can put a dishpan in the sink for washing up as I cook, but still have room in the sink to fill pots, to access the disposal, and so on. There's nothing better during the holidays. We got some teasing about it initially because it's so big and very different from what most people are accustomed to. After they use it, friends and family often decide it's what they'd like in their homes. The thing is sturdy. No dents. No dings. No deformations of any kind. The only negatives I've found after four years of daily use:1. The metal grid is hard to keep clean. I initially thought I might not use it at all, however, I've found that I like the cushioning it provides and the fact that water drains away underneath it even if there are dishes piled in the sink. It tends to catch food and debris, which are not so hard to wash off the grid itself, but that gunk collects in the holes on the top of the plastic feet and under the plastic bumpers. And it's some work to scrub and disinfect every bit of that thing.2. The grid has left wear marks on the sink under the feet where the bumpers hit the sides of the sink.2. There is a slight discoloration (tarnish?) in the metal sink around the drain now after several years of use.3. Despite care, I found it impossible to maintain the original finish in perfect condition on the front top edge of the sink. It definitely shows watermarks on that edge. The apron, however, still looks almost new. The finish on the inside of the sink is not as pristine, but it's a sink. It gets used.

This sink is AWESOOOOME!
I researched this item thoroughly before purchasing it and am so pleased at the results I cannot even describe it meaningfully here. Suffice it to say the quality is everything claimed, it looks amazing in my kitchen, and it solved ALL my sink problems. It is replacing the molded in sink that I had cut away.It showed up on schedule, beautifully packaged. The straps around it made is super easy to lift out of its foam cradle. I wish other supplies of goods made getting the Styrofoam off their products that easy! The parts were all there and easy to understand how to put together because they came loosely assembled. The spare parts and little hand towel were a nice touch, too. The s/s finish is superior to many other products I have seen over the years. I really gleams softly and washes clean easily.I checked the template as the manufacturer recommends and it was perfect. Installation was not hard even tho we had to lift its 50 lb bulk up from inside the existing cabinet (that was only a little wider than the sink) to flush up underneath the existing counter top. The support flanges made setting up and securing the wood supports against the cabinet walls pretty simple. There is one caveat to that, which is to be sure your support wood is slender enough to fit past the bottom of the sink basin to the flanges. That clearance is pretty tight if the cabinet is only slightly bigger than the sink itself.I dare say a Sumo Wrestler could bath in this sink now and it would not move out of position. Thanks for a really fine product.MKC

Well made, well packaged!
Nice sink! Came very nicely packaged. We have yet to completely install it, but it's sitting in the base waiting on the contractor to finish it up. It looks great! Can't wait to use it!!
