My old transfer pump leaked like a sieve after a few years so I decided to purchase a new one. The pump works well with no leaks so far. After three times using it the tab that holds the end in the storage hole broke off. Now I can’t clip it into my gas fill hole of the tractor fuel tank. I gave it three stars due to the clip breaking it such a short time. How do you send a pump back once it has gasoline in it?Purchased in April 2024 and it arrived the first week of May.End of May and now has quit working all together. Total times I used it is 5 times. Replaced batteries and all it does is tries to start but doesn’t. Amazon send me a new pump due to the broken piece. Can’t send back due to gasoline being in it. We’ll see how the new one lasts.New review one year later. Second pump quit working again. I pried the auto shut off sensor out cut and stripped the wires and soldered the three small wires together. Now the pump works but there is no auto shut off. I did that to the old pump and it now also works. Seems the auto shut sensor is the junk part. Just have to remember there’s no auto shutoff.

Was a little sketchy about buying this. I needed it to pump 10w 40 oil out of a 5 gallon bucket into gallon jugs. It works. It’s slow, it doesn’t pump 2 gallons a minute. But oil is also thicker than gasoline or diesel. It comes with 3 different attachments for gas jugs. Very easy to use. Decent quality, and it didn’t leak. Has a nozzle, similar to a gas pump nozzle. Much easier than picking up that 5 gallon bucket and trying to hold a funnel and pour in a jug at the same time. If I’m being honest I wouldn’t buy it again for oil, I would get something better. Liquids would probably pump out much better.

Reading the reviews was a slight bit skeptical, but the pump works perfectly. Its best if you can have the can higher than the tank you are filling so it pumps more of the fuel into the tank. Clip that holds the end spout into the tank broke off but the pump flow isn't strong enough to make it an issue.

This thing works great. I found it difficult to pick-up a large tank of gas and then operate the safety nozzle to fill the tank on the riding mower. I can fill the tank mower in less than one minute with no lifting. It also cuts off automatically when the tank is full. I also don't have the frustration trying to operate the nozzle.

Perfect for filling my Waverunner and Seadoo in the water. Why did it take me so long to get this setup?
