If you are canning them, you need to know that all that great taste and flavor kind of disappears. Also, they taste better when eaten by themselves versus included as an ingredient in a dish. IF the manufacturer would drop the CORN SYRUP SOLIDS, SODIUM NITRATE and DEXTROSE from the ingredients these small sausages would deserve a 5+ star review. What's the real reason for adding these three ingredients ?

My son absolutely loved this re-usable container of sausages, He is a gamer, and loves to snack while playing. This is an easy choice as they are mess free, tasty and perfectly sized. The flavor was great and the chew are both just right. (He is a texture eater, and found these to be ideal for his palette.) You get 2 dozen smoky sticks in the container, and they are each individually packaged. ( so easy to put into a pocket or snack pack) The price was a nice find too, as they were reasonably priced for a protein snack. I will order these again, and will remember these for occasions like my Brothers and Brother in-laws Birthdays. They are the ideal "Guy" gift!
