I purchased several mugs with covers--you just can't tell how comfortable a mug is until it's in your hand. The others were beautiful but the handles a bit thick for my women's size small (glove size) hands. This mug is perfect--it also easily hold's 12 ounces with room for milk.This is a high quality porcelain mug, sturdy and thin with an elegant finish. There are no rough spots. This is nice addition to my collection and would make a nice gift. As a bonus, there was a dainty flower painted in gold on top of the cover--charming!

I love the feel on my lips, just a special little luxurious treat at 78 years young. I drink coffee that I top with whip cream and cinnamon, or tea from it, feels so nice in the hand.
