High-quality car seat
This is our second infant car seat so the only thing I have to compare it to is the basic model of the Graco snugride. This seems the tiniest bit bulkier/heavier to me, but it's been a few years so I'm maybe I'm just forgetting! Overall, it's still fairly lightweight and easy to maneuver. It's very intuitive to use and I love that you can reach out for live video support if needed with the install! We use the Latch system which makes this super easy to set up. Also love the leveling feature which adjusts easily.I didn't fully remove the fabric but it looks like it would be easy enough to do, and I love the cover that comes with this one so you don't have to buy a separate one.I did find the chest buckle a bit difficult to use at first, but then I realized I was pressing too hard. You only have to press very lightly and then slide it for it to open. All car seats have to meet the same safety requirements so I would recommend this as a solid contender for an infant car seat at a reasonable price

Looks like everything you need in a car seat
I got this car seat because I will be the backup transportation for my grandson, who'll go to daycare soon.I'm not savvy in the ways of car seats. When my kids used them you just stuck them in it and hooked the seatbelt around it. Now this one came with a 120 page booklet! The good stuff...*To me this car seat is full of safety features. Like the harness. That should keep the little booger safely in place. My favorite though has to be the roll bar. Apparently the makers of this car seat have observed my driving.*I like that he'll be able to use this car seat for a long time. It's adjustable to different positions depending on height and weight.*The roll bar doubles as a carrier handle! Who knew!? So the base stays in the car and the rest becomes a carrier. That is awesome if he falls asleep.*The fabric part comes out and is machine washable. I do remember how messy babies are, so this is good. In fact I'm going to attempt to remove it and launder it before he uses it. The fabric feels like some kind of nylon or other water resistant material. I hope it softens up.*I heard it called a privacy shade. He's a baby, how much privacy does he need? I'll call it a sun shade that comes down in front. It has mesh sides for airflow. It also zips off if it's in the way.*I think the leveling knob is awesome. I was looking this thing over and saw the level gage on the side. I couldn't help but wonder how I would get it leveled. Too easy! The not so good stuff...*The smell of this thing when I took it out of the plastic bag about knocked me over. Another good reason to wash the fabric before using.*Are the warning labels necessary on each side of the baby? I understand some of us aren't that bright, but these just seem a little much. I guess better safe than sorry.*I already mentioned the 120 page booklet. I figured part of it would be in Spanish and another in Canadian (jk), but nope 120 pages of all English. I guess we need the info, but it is overwhelming. The final word stuff...I see other car seats for twice the $150 tag on this one. I've even seen $1200 ones. I wonder what the big difference is!? This one anchors into the car and all that stuff. If this one does the trick and is safe, why would you spend more money!? I would recommend this. Just let it air out before subjecting a poor little kid to the odor.

A safe and easy to install car seat!
I like this car seat. It seems of a good quality. It’s easy to install and looks safe for infants. It’s stable and sturdy and stands well on the base. Overall I like it. Highly recommended!

Nice car seat for the price
This is baby number 5 and my 3rd infant car seat purchase. I have always used evenflo infant seats. One of the most important things for me when purchasing an infant car seat is weight. This car seat is light weight so it does not add a ton of weight to the carrying weight with the baby. Another con of this seat is that the weight limits go down to 4lbs. My baby ended up being preemie and she was still able to go home in this seat. At 17in she was still able to pass the car seat test in this seat. I also liked that this seat was compatible with my previous evenflo stroller so I did not need to purchase a new one. The base was relatively easy to install and the car seat straps adjust easily. As far as cons, I am not a fan of the visor cover, at least not yet. Maybe in the warmer months I will find it more useful. It detaches easily with a zipper so it’s not an issue to remove if you find the functionality useless. Living in a colder state it provides no warmth and because of the netted sides on the visor it provides very little wind barrier as well. It is strictly for keeping the sun out and off of baby.

Well designed car seat; really like the privacy shade feature and anti rebound bar
This is a really nice car seat overall. The material is good quality and I like the padded insert to give baby a secure and comfortable placement in the seat. The canopy material doesn't feel cheap like some car seats I have encountered. I really like the privacy shade. It can come completely off and can be stored in a pocket toward the back of the canopy. The car seat isn't overly heavy, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it is lightweight. It does not seem any lighter than other comparable ones. The seat fits very securely into the base, and it was easy to install in a vehicle. Overall, this is a good quality car seat with several beneficial features.

Evenflo Never Lets Me Down
I’ve been using Evenflo products, including infant seats, convertible seats, and boosters, since my oldest was born 14 years ago. My 3 year old currently has an Evenflo convertible seat in both mine and dad’s cars. Evenflo is always my go to option for good quality at an affordable price and I’ve never been disappointed. This is no different. Everything feels durable and on par with what I’d expect and am used to at this price range.
