Partisan Warfare on the Eastern Front, 1941–1944 (Images of War)

This is the first book from the Images of War series I have read, so I was expecting more pictures, but less text. However, the text was much more informative than I thought it would be, but as a result, there are fewer pictures and those that are in the book are quite varied. I have seen several of the images of Partisans in another book, so was a little disappointed that there are not many "unique" ones. Overall though, an interesting book on a generally overlooked subject.
