These are excellent casters! I'm using 4 of these on an engine stand that I have reconstructed to give me extra weight capability and huge stability. However, the picture is NOT what they look like......I've attached a pic of what they really look like. The wheels are truly 3" in diameter, they roll separately, total width of the dual wheels is 1 3/4", the stud is 2 1/2" long from the rotating plate, but note there is a 3/4" nut at the base of the stud about 1/2" tall, so keep this in mind. Highly recommended.

I was looking for some casters for my Champion generator. The generator had two big back wheels, but the front side had rubber feet. I understand they keep the generator nice and stable while running, but it was a pain to move. These locking, double-wheel casters were the perfect solution. I just look off the rubber feet, drilled a bit bigger hole on the one side where I reused the rubber foot hole, and just found a good spot on the other side to drill new hole. Popped the wheels on with nuts and washers, and I now have an easy to move generator that will also be locked in place while running.
