Super easy to change out although I have not been able to get the rims entirely against the ceiling yet. I used the rib style around the bulb instead of the smooth for a more 3 dimensional look. The lights are super clean looking and make the kitchen so much brighter. I experimented with the color temps and ended up using the 3000k. An inexpensive upgrade to the kitchen. Worth every penny.

These LED lights were so easy to install! They look beautiful and modern offering bright light in our master bath! We love them so much, we will be purchasing 2 more kits to replace all our outdated canned lighting throughout our home. Great value as well!

Only been in place for a week but they are bright and were simple to install into existing cans. I don't have them wired with a dimmer so I can't comment on that function.

I had old non-IC rated can lights that were installed in a single story addition and were letting in cold air. Most were non-standard slightly less than 5" Commercial Electric, and didn't have the C clip holders that one would use on the retrofit LED recessed lights with the spring clips - and the 5"-6" movable brackets on the Commercial Electric retrofits were too big anyway to enter these non-standard cans.So the Parmida was perfect for this application as the back of the light is narrow, only about 4", and it relies on the rotatable bendable metal tabs making friction connection with the sides of the cans - as opposed to the bulk of the retrofit lights that involve moving a bracketed spring clip into the C clip holders on the can!I was able to install the Parmida on four non-standard Commercial Electric 5" cans, and two 6" standard Halo cans. These work great to cut off the cold air. Some of them wouldn't sit flush, but it is a function IMO of the drywall lip and can install centeredness within the hole.Remember to move the tabs at the back if you want the 5", and set your color temperature and test the light's functionality before pushing it into the can. Per other customers and the company customer service, it is possible to pull out the light with some rotation but it looks like the light might break if that's done. At this price point I don't really care anyway, I have ordered another 6 pack for my 4 remaining 5" cans.Edit: for the people with the old trim held in with springs in the cans - use needlenose pliers to pull the upper end of the spring free. The lower end is wound in a complete circle and impossible to pull out.Edit 2: For the people whose lights aren't flush with the ceiling - it is possible that the drywall hole isn't perfect and is intruding into the hole. This may be preventing the light from pushing up all the way into the can.

Great price and value. Good quality, fits perfect and the brightness is daylight. Didn't see where you could dim so if you light daylight setting this is great! Really brightens up a dark kitchen. A lot better than the ones I had which produced a yellow light instead of a nice daylight color.

Great Value for the money & you can even change the color easily!I already Changed my entire house Ceiling lights with this brand but this New one is Perfect compared to the previous generation!

These were extremely simple to install. They come with the adapter to screw right into the old socket or if this is a new install, that adapter pops off for the standard led orange plug. I choose 3000k and they feel a lot hotter than that to me but they still look great. If you are looking for the same basic color as old style bulbs, you might want to go for 2700k, but the 3000k provide more light with a similar color. I’m sure the night you go the brighter they will be.Also, I was adding a lutron Caseta dimmer switch at the time of adding these. I installed the bulbs first with the original basic light switch and they worked perfectly. They work just as well with the lutron switch for on, off, and dimming.Great leds for a great price. I have 4 more lights to replace in my house and I will definitely be going with these when I go ahead and update them.

do not buy.LED light is perfect but baffle holders are designed very chip and breaks down when heated. don't buy.
