It’s the missing ingredient in some dog foods, but at a much lower cost to add to regular food than purchasing the expensive foods. It’s easy to sprinkle on top of my dog’s food to boost the nutrition.

The results from this are seen almost right away. After only a few days of use the dog’s teeth looked soooo much cleaner. I even told my vet about it and they said they’ve heard of a few patients using the supplement and it being very effective. I have a very picky heeler and he doesn’t mind this supplement in his food at all! Worth the money for sure.

We have 3 Golden Retrievers and use this on a regular basis. I do believe it helps with digestion, metabolism, skin/coat and several other things. They are all in excellent condition and their health is very good according to their vet.

Combined with a careful diet, just giving him a little of this daily has turned him around completely. He is rarely if ever stiff (unless he’s been sleeping for hours on the the wood floor), he attacks the steps each night at bedtime, and he just seems more youthful and energetic. Because of that success, we started giving it to all our dogs to give them a better quality of life. If you’re looking for something to help with hip and joint issues, this is an outstanding product to try.

We love the back40 sea kelp supplement. For being a street rescue, my dog is pretty picky. So I wasn't sure he was going to like it. He loves it and if I forget to put it in his food I will definitely notice it when he hasn't touched it. So naturally we put in another order when we began to run low. The "sealed for your protection" cover was opened and the cap was loose. There was loose sea kelp in the box. Amazon won't take the return and I'm not sure I want to use it since the seal is broken. Other than that I do love their products.

So i decided to do a little experiment and stopped using all of the back 40 suplements I use and then restarted about a month later. Wanted to see if there was a noticable differences. Well it pretty much blew me away. I intitally started the Kelp because my dogs have very bad breath and twice now ive noticed the bad breath goes away after 2-3 days of use. In the long term my vet went from telling us "we might need to schedule a cleaning soon" to "they dont need one yet we can definatley put it off a while". Added bonus its stinky and the dogs love it. Genuinley an all rounder great for them and they seem to like it.

My dogs fur looks so much better, and is super soft. Recommend this product to everyone!

An absolute MUST if you’re home cooking pet food. Kelp powder has a lot of iodine (and other minerals) which is needed in animal diets. I’ve reordered this a couple times and will keep reordering. It is high quality and my pets don’t mind the taste.
