I would get off the bike and find the zipper has slipped all the way down like I forgot up to zip my fly
I got tired of being too warm in my textile pants for summer riding, so I ordered these jeans. The material is a strong quality material, not some flimsy fabric that would rip. I just got back from a 2500km bike trip in these jeans, and they have performed very well. With the wide pant legs flopping in the wind at highway speed, they didn't tear or rip or having any issues. In terms of fit, I am normally a size 8, so I ordered size 8. With my short legs, the pants are a bit too long for me, but that was expected.I gave it 4 stars for one reason--the zipper keeps slipping. I would get off the bike and find the zipper has slipped all the way down like I forgot up to zip my fly. There's something wonky with the zipper mechanism that it doesn't stay up. But by the time I realized this, I was already on my trip, so I kept wearing the jeans. I just have to make sure that I always double check the zipper every time I get off the bike.

Great riding jeans
I love riding in these Jeans. I have been wearing them twice a week switching from my other BILT pair. They are super comfortable and very relaxed at the waste but not to the extent of falling. When I sit on my cruiser, they fit perfectly around my waist, and I do not have to adjust. True to size. The jeans were a great buy as it makes me feel much safer riding and you cannot tell they have knee armor. Good looking riding jeans.Update: I still love these jeans, but for some reason, the zipper keeps coming down. I do not know why the zipper will not stay up all the time.

Good bike riding protection
Fit close to size. Somewhat heavy, with the protective lining. They also have molded plastic knee pads that were not advertised but these are easily removed.

Great Fit for biking
Many women's motorcycle pants with armor are too tight around the knees causing the armor to rub and abrade the knees when riding. These Bilt Iron Worker's jeans allow for different riding positions and make the experience pleasant again. 5'4", 112#.

True to size 14.
Fit well. Legs are extra long which is good for the motorcycle ride but not great to walk around. I am only 5'2" so most jeans are too long for me. The knee pads are light weight and easy to remove by way of velcrow at the bottom of the inside of the pant leg.

armor is only the knees if you keep the pads in
Good quality, but not what I expected. the 'Armor' is not permanent, only the knee pads and have to be added. Also, these are low rise and hard to keep up and get even lower when riding.

Although they look very stylish and comfortable, the size 6 I ordered was closer to a size 2 (I compared them to my sister's jeans, just to be sure). Not sure how that happened, since all the other buyers reported "true to size" for this pant.

Nice alternative to full body armor.
Runs true to size, lots of room for a bigger booty, nice boot cut leg I can tuck into calf length boots, or over them. Also has a zipper on the back, I think you are supposed to sew the loose end onto your motorcycle jacket? Pretty much feels like thicker jeans with knee pads that need to be worn in. They definitely don't look like regular jeans, but they're not atrocious.
