Super easy to install. Slide switch allows selecting from several different color temperatures. Really clean installation; the case fits tightly to the ceiling, leaving no gap for air leakage, and the lamp is smoothly integrated into the case with a low-profile, pleasing shoulder. These lights are lightweight enough that they could almost be installed in ceiling tiles with no additional support. These are a great bargain.

I recently purchased the Amico 5/6 inch 3CCT LED Recessed Lighting for my basement living room and kitchen with a vaulted ceiling. After using them for a while, I must say they have been an excellent addition to my home lighting setup.Firstly, the reason I chose these lights was the cost-saving 3 color option instead of the 5 color option. I also benefited from a 5% coupon and a reassuring 5-year warranty, making this purchase even more enticing.Installation was a breeze, thanks to the existing mounting brackets. Removing the old bulbs/baffles and replacing them with these LED lights was straightforward. The process became even smoother as I remembered to check the light color switch before stepping off the ladder.The design and appearance of the Amico recessed lights are sleek, which perfectly complements my recently painted white ceilings. I upgraded from older recessed lighting baffles that didn't blend well with the new decor, and this change has made a significant difference.In terms of brightness, the 5k option is impressively bright, especially in the kitchen, making it ideal for various tasks. For the living room, I set the lights to 4k and installed a dimmer switch, allowing me to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. At 100% brightness, these lights exceed the output of the old lights by far.As for energy savings, it's too early to determine since they are still relatively new installations, but the LED technology itself should contribute to efficiency over time.The build quality appears promising, as the lights are lightweight yet sturdy. These are one of the best quality ones I have installed and used yet. These are on par and very comparable to the high end ones that so many DIY stores carry. The price is phenomenal and the temperature adjustment is something that only a few brands offer.

I purchased two of these 16 packs which is enough to replace all of the can lights in our home plus several extras in case any burn out prematurely. The value for the money - at least at this point - seems very good.Most difficult part of the process was installing the clips into the existing can; our house is 20 years old, so our cans didn't have these clips pre-installed. Nice touch for Amico to include clips for retrofitting old cans like mine, as you can't install the LED assembly without them - otherwise, there's nothing to hold the LED assembly in the can. The clips are thin metal and bend easily, but they do the trick.Once the clips are installed in the cans (if your cans already have them installed, even better!), installation is a snap. Connect one side of the cable harness to the LED assembly and screw the other side into the E26 socket that's already in your can. Snap the hangers onto the LED assembly, then compress the hangers so you can thread them into the clips in the can. Remember to set the color temperature on the rear of the LED assembly before you push them up into their final position, although you can easily pull them down and adjust the color temperature without taking the LED assembly completely out of the can.After having these installed for a little over a week, they appear to be right where I left them - no pulling away from the ceiling. I also have goof trim rings sitting between the LED assembly and the ceiling surface which I purchased separately (the holes had been cut slightly too large, so gaps and rough edges were visible around the perimeter of the cans), and even with that small amount of extra weight the LED assemblies appear to be staying in place.Finally, the only issue I had was one of the LED assemblies had a broken clip so I couldn't attach the hanger on one side. I emailed customer service with a photograph and Amazon receipt, and they quickly responded and offered to send TWO replacements. Great customer service.Oh, and the lights look great! Super bright. I love the flexibility allowed by setting your own color temperature. We used 4K in the kitchen and 3K in other parts of the house where we wanted warmer light. The 2.7K is the warmest temp available and has a warm, yellow glow ideal for a place you want to light up with "cozy" light. The 5K and 6K settings are even whiter, almost beginning to show a blue tint.In the attached photo, the color temp is 4K, and I've switched off a couple of the lights so you can see what they look like when switched off. Highly recommended!

I installed several dozen of these about a month ago. I find that they work really well. They dim well and are very consistent.I would definitely recommend these.Hopefully I’ll get the thousand years of use they’re promising. Fingers crossed.
