I am surprised this item doesn’t have any reviews yet, but I still decided to take a chance and try it out. I don’t regret it! I have a 2 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit mix with a lot of energy and a desire to play at all times. He especially loves playing tug, and this toy has quickly become his favorite toy, and mine. Very well made with good stitching and nice thick leather. I recommend wearing gloves if you have a dog like mine who really gets into intense games of tug— even the most comfortable handle will make your hand a little red after intense tug play with a puppy. I’ve even started incorporating it into my workout routine: 30min-1hr tug play in the morning, and the same to wind down and tire him out at night. Who needs battle ropes when you’ve got this and a dog who never tires out (until now!). I will probably repurchase to have a backup, I love this dog toy that much. If you’re thinking about purchasing definitely go for it.

My GSD puppy, at 6 months made shredded leather out of this in a matter of weeks. Initially it was fine but if you spend more than an hour or two playing with your dog, chances are this toy will begin to tear.

Already chewed handle off but still plays with the leather

Seems more like a strong microfiber/felt. Material is "hard". Doesn't hang and move freely like other brands. It moves like an old sundried rag. Dog doesn't get a mouth full to bite unless you hold it a certain way. I'll try to dampen it and "break-in". I hope that helps. Feels like a dry car shamy

Not real leather, you can tell as soon as you open it up. I decided to give it a try anyways and my German Shepherd pup shredded it on the first use. It suppose to be somewhat slick to help improve bite force with the dog, but since it’s not real leather it doesn’t slip at all. Hence why my dog shredded it with ease. Not worth the $20.

My rat terrier loves it. One of the few toys he hasn’t managed to completely destroy.

My GSD puppy goes absolutely feral for this. We play tug with it in the yard and he's obsessed. Other toys like ropes, rags, etc. don't really hold his attention but he'll even play with this on his own when I'm busy. Super love this!
