ease of use. never had a light so easy to use

Have been using the HomeConcept LED201BK lamp for a week or so, and it is exactly what I needed. My office has ceiling LED spot lights, but not enough brightness for my desktop and keyboard. The brilliant white light makes everything pop. I have the lamp set just below my eye level, so there's no glare or washout. Easy to turn on or off, just swipe your finger over the flat capacitance switch. The switch also doubles as a dimmer - just touch and hold until you reach the light level you want. Turn off with a touch, and then on again - the lamp remembers the level you selected. Gooseneck allows bending in most any direction, including turning the lamp slightly towards LED monitor screen. The only downside has nothing to do with the lamp: Seller really needs to improve the delivery time to two days. Would purchase again from seller.

I bought 2 of these for both of my studios and they both work great for detail work. The brightness is just right for what I need and I appreciate the dimming feature. Would buy again.

Good lamp. Good thing about it is the goose neck and it is dimmable plus it is directional. When it is on high it brightens the whole room but that is not needed so we keep it dimmed. Plus it being led keeps the bill down.

I need to view small details at work. My cubicle is not as bright as I need. I have no windows near by desk. I needed clear, clean light to help me see the details. This lamp is great! Heavy base, flexible neck/arm cool light that has a dimming feature. The only complaint that I might have is the AC adapter connected at the end is bulky, and takes up two outlets on my power strip. A better set-up would use an smaller plug, and move the bulky adapter away from the end of the plug. I would recommend this light to any one who need clear, bright light to see detail. It is balanced for day-light so it's like being out side almost.

I was recently diagnosed with early macular degeneration and have noticed that my eyes tire more quickly when reading.It was suggested to get better lighting.I am very pleased with it especially the easy dimable feature as I don't always need or want the highest setting. The adjustable arm is also an excellent feature.Not all of this style lamp from other manufacturers are flexible - so check carefully.I've had it for about 3 weeks, using it nightly, and so far no problems and can read for longer stretches.

Pros:1. Bright. I used to have a desk lamp with 3 incandescent bulbs (40 W each). This new light gives me similar brightness (at Hi setting) and day-light spectrum.2. Flexibility. The goose-neck frame allows me to adjust the area of illumination. It has an planer array of LEDs, with a diffusive glass cover. So the light is not focused, but is directed forward.Cons:1. The LEDs are soldered to the panel. So when they fail, you cannot change individual ones. I am not sure if you can replace the panel, or you will have to get a new one.2. There was no manual. It is very simple to operate so no instructions are needed. However, I expect to see some information about specification (luminosity, power consumption, safety standard, etc.).

It's a bright light, easy to use.
