nice woman's watch
it's kind of funny to me that all the negative reviews mention that the watch has a small band, a flat profile, and is overall more delicate than they anticipate from a casio.my guys, it's a woman's watch. like obviously watches aren't inherently gendered, anyone can wear a watch, this is a nice one, the square styling is masculine, and the kind of woman who is into vintage-style casio watches is a very specific kind of woman, (both I myself and my wife love it) but it's just funny to see all the design elements that make this a woman's watch being friction points for men.like, I don't go and review a G-Shock as too big and clunky for my wrist and therefore it's bad, I just acknowledge that it wasn't built for me and live my life.

The watch is fireee
I'm done with smart watches, wanted to go back to the regular stuff. But this watch ain't regular. LOOK AT ITTTT. It is fireee. Personally, the cream strap makes the screen pop more. That's just my opinion. I haven't used one of these watches in ages so I expected the set up to be long but it wasn't hard to figure out. I wish there were different color lighting to choose from but there is a bottom give it light for a few secs. I prefer that over the night light so the battery can last longer. For the price, definitely wort it. The men get all the good stuff. It's not bulky so it looks great on my hand as a woman. I see you, Casio. Those Baby Gs looking mighty nice.

The ae-30 is back! yay!
i am beyond stoked to see this reissue of my favorite 80’s casio watch, the ae-30. I had one back then, and i’ve purchased a few on ebay over the years—it is truly my favorite design. This reissue is fantastic, still a slim (flat profile), light, and has beautiful complications. The band is okay, but i will most likely replace it. The buttons are metal instead of the original model’s plastic buttons. Also note that the width for the band is less than 20mm, so if you plan to replace it, it’s not 20mm. The only negative i have is the WR level. it’s WR, but doesn’t seem to list a depth like the original model. I would have loved to have seen them ditch the natural light and use something like the green backlit glow, but that may just be my personal preference. However, right on, Casio, thanks for releasing my favorite watch again!

Pretty sweet watch
Pretty sweet watch. It was fiddly to set up the world times since you have to set if it is daylight saving time for each time zone. Other than that, perfect.

Elegante, manual
Lo tengo poco tiempo aún, pero ee un hermoso reloj! Se ve muy bien y me gustan sus funciones de alarma y horas de varios países. Obviamente funciona manualmente, pero lindo.

This watch gets more compliments than anything else
I have a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, it’s a beautiful watch, but I’ve gotten 4x more compliments on this Casio than the Tissot.Pro Tip: Make sure you are comfortable with the face size.

Fine time piece, I would replace the strap.
This is a great watch. I love the face. Love the ability to set 5 different time zones with a click of a button. It’s comfortable and small. I’m a heavy diesel mechanic so in the two weeks I’ve been wearing this, it has already been bashed with a hammer, dunked in hydraulic oil, it’s been tested and not a scratch. It says water resistant but doesn’t state a rating on the watch itself, so I’m skeptical, but I don’t plan on diving with it, it’ll be fine for a swim. There are some cons. One being the backlight, it’s bright but it’s clearly a little led that’s really bright and washes out the rest of the face. It’s still legible but looks bad. But at this price point. It’s serviceable. The worst part is the strap. The buckle is thin plastic, and just feels like a point of failure. But when it does fail, I can get a new strap. The buttons don’t register every time you press them which is a minor annoyance, especially if you want to use the stop watch or timer. But if you just want a watch to set and forget; it’s fine.
