I had shellac French polish put on my nails just before Christmas and they were starting to grow out and look unsightly. I prefer to have them done for special occasions and keep my nails strong and healthy. This tool is so handy! It comes in a small pouch (no box so less packaging) and has about 5 different heads. There are instructions for each one. It took about 30 minutes in total but it has fully removed all the shellac. You have to be gentle so as not to press too hard and damage your nails. I used 2 x Duracell AA batteries and found the power just right. I can only presume that other reviewers used rubbish batteries as this was the perfect speed to remove the 3 layers of shellac and varnish. The pouch is small and not bulky at all, so will fit perfectly in my drawer and the pen itself is comfortable to hold. Plus it is much cheaper than other alternatives. I prefer the battery operated pen as it uses up much less space than the usb charging ones, plus it worked much better than acetone. Also it will be a great tool for when my nails need filing or buffing!

This is most useless thing I’ve purchased, did not work as expected. Weak motor and time consuming.

Not at all what I expected it to be like, it's very slow, doesn't do as good a job as described, rather disappointed with the whole thing, it'll be put in a drawer and I've ordered a new different one, hopefully I'll be happier with that.

This does the job of grinding back thick nails with relative ease. I imagine if it were used on “normal nails” it may be a bit aggressive. It feels a bit cheap but does a goid job.

Easy to use

Although this tool is designed for several uses, I had ordered it specifically to reduce nail ridges. However, it had absolutely zero effect on this - and I would say they actually looked a bit more pronounced afterwards.Sadly, I have opted to return this item.

Light weight & easy to use. Easy to install AA batteries & attachments size is good and easy to handle when doing own nails value for money as does what I need it to do

It’s good for buffing and filing natural nails. However it’s very weak when trying to file polygel, acrylic, gel etc it practically does not work with those products. If you are buying it for the intended use of filing acrylics or polygel then it is not worth it.
