for 20+ years i have been using plastic hozelock and every winter they crack and break split or shatter - and the prices are going up and up to the point they are silly money now so i went for this cheap brass set with no expectations yet im SUPER impressed - works perfectley much stronger well made and easy to use and fit - same design as hozelock but brass - dont know why i didint get this years ago - the hoseend produces a much stronger get as well - and you cna drop it and it wont break like the plastic ones - Buy it folks you wont be sorry

Really good quality garden hose connector set. Have bought metal ones in the past from the big sheds and these are much better quality. Bye bye plastic hose fittings too, I won’t look back. Well recommended.

I bought a virtually identical pack to these from a certain German supermarket chain (no probably not that one, the other one). I was very impressed with those, so bought two packs of the Am-Tech ones from Amazon.The pack consists of:1 x 3/4 inch screw-on adapter1 x adjustable nozzle1 x hose connector with water-stop valve1 x hose connector without water-stop valveOf the two packs I bought this time, one of the non-water-stop hose connectors unfortunately would not hold fast. Under water pressure the connectors would pop apart within about five seconds. This would happen whether fitted to a plastic connector or one of the metal ones included in the set. The other connectors in the sets were fine.At least they're very cheap; four items for about the price of two.By the way these connectors do not work well with Hozelock water-stop connectors as they don't push the valve back far enough.

I was pleased with these as they work with all my tired old Hozelock fittings which I am replacing as they are gradually falling apart.As an added bonus, the nozzle makes a wonderful farty trumpeting sound when the water pressure is high enough. This has attracted lonely elephants which is nice but the neighbours have stared to complain about the noise. The flattened fences and missing vegetables don't help either.They look durable and seem to be elephant proof. No doubt the o-rings will decay with time just like the other brands but that's unavoidable and they are replaceable.

This is a well made, solid piece of kit and looks like it would last years.Unfortunately, my 1/2 inch anti kink hose has a slightly thicker walland the connectors do not fit. Someone in "Questions" asked if it would fit a 3/4 inch hoseand the reply was "yes". This is not true. It doesn't allow my 1/2 inch hose with a slightly thicker wall to connect so definitely not 3/4 inch.

The hose fitting is great, heavy duty brass and the twist operation is good on this design as the grip is spaced away from the collar...other ones are next to the collar and fiddly to use.The spray from the end is great, directional jet to a circular spray and satisfactory.The hose fittings are very good too, rugged, closely fitting and heavy duty.Finally they include an outside tap fitting, making this a great starter hose pack.However if your buying this to add to your watering kit this will be surplus, but it's useful to squirrel them away as it's good to change them over once the rubber seals perish after few seasons use.
