Ever wanted to know what the inside of a machine looks like?
This device has been a tool I never knew I needed. It's extremely easy to set up and comes with everything you need. The fact that the screen is built into it instead of having to rely on another monitor is a massive bonus for me. It can easily squeeze into gaps in car repair, walls, and other appliances without needing to take everything apart first.I let me dad borrow it to do some maintenance on some machines at his shop (he's a machinist) and he said it's been great for him. The added accessories are just icing on the cake, even if I haven't had a need to use them yet.The reason I'm giving this a four instead of five stars is because it lacks a carrying case. I think a nice zipper case would be fantastic for it to come in, but instead it's a bit bulky and forced me to keep it away from any tools that may harm the screen. I also wish there were a way to get a smaller extension on the camera. While three feet is fantastic, sometimes I only need maybe a foot. This causes me to have to look at the monitor a awkwardly to see what is on the other end of the camera.Still, you can't go wrong with this device. I'd highly recommend it.

Useful camera probe
This camera has helped me look into lab equipment without completely disassembling it. The LED lights work well. The resolution of the camera is enough for seeing details of small components. The camera runs on four AA batteries, which isn't a con, just something I needed to get. I really wish it had an SD card slot so I could review video when trying to diagnose equipment issues. Overall, it works well and was easy to use.

Good for occasional use
I've used this borescope a few times now, and I'd say in terms of quality, it's pretty mid-level. I'm not particularly fond of how the accessories attach. There were no clear instructions on how to even attach the accessories. After a few minutes of trying to figure it out, I realized that there is a plastic ring that goes on the camera head to attach the accessories onto. The gooseneck is functional but tends to bow while using it, plus it's not very long. It kind of limits you on what you can use it for. I would say that it works out great for working on cars, but the gooseneck isn't long enough to go deep into walls or vents. The camera quality is good, and the images seem presumably clear. It isn't too hard detecting what most objects are unless you're in the sunlight, then it gets a little challenging. The 2.7" screen is large enough to get an expansive look at everything. It does requires batteries for operation. While it's convenient for some, I would have preferred it to be rechargeable. This borescope would be ideal for someone who needed it on occasion. I don't think I'd want to use it in an everyday setting

Light weight, clear picture, uncomplicated.
This is a good scope. Easy to hold and easy to use. I appreciate the attachments, and I am sure they will come in handy, but so far I have not needed them. I have needed them in the past but did not have this scope at the time so I appreciate not having to go through the hassle and frustration of trying to deal with a situation like I had before without them.I am really impressed by the picture. Much better quality and clearer that my other scope. I also really appreciate the stiff neck that stays where you bend it, but easy to bend and fit around corners. Having a light on the end is a must and again appreciated. The only ding I would give this is that there is not a way to save a picture. You can't record a snapshot to show some one for advice or help or a video of what you see. I suppose I can take a picture of the screen with my phone should the need arise, but I would need another set of hands for that. Still I am thinking… have I ever needed to take a picture of the things I see when using a scope… well yeah. There have been a few times, but it is rare and just having the better picture in the first place is worth it.

Clear Picture and Easy to Use
We ordered this for my son who works on cars. He was pretty excited about the borescope. The picture is very clear when viewing. The neck stays well bent when moving it around. I also like that it charges overnight and the charge lasts a long time vs having batteries that need to be replaced.Every once in a while there is a slight delay in the picture, however, I cannot figure out if it does that when the charge goes down to a certain point or if it just delays slightly. It is a bit pricy -- it does the job-- but it could be listed for a lot less.

Great little scope! Needs a little more rigidity in the gooseneck, however.
The Innova name is a brand that I trust for quality analyzers and instruments, and this borescope lives up to the reputation. It’s simple to use, the picture is clear and bright, and can be rotated on the screen. Brightness of the LED’s is controllable. It comes with a magnetic pickup for retrieving small (tiny, really) parts, and a 45 degree mirror. I find it much simpler to use than the wi-fi borescope I had previously, which used my smart phone for a display. Another big plus for me is that it uses common AA batteries instead of a rechargeable battery. This means it’s always ready to go when I need it.One significant disadvantage is that the flexible gooseneck is maybe too flexible as it tends to droop when extended horizontally, and must be supported somewhere in the middle. This rates a 1 star deduction in my book.

Nice portable borescope for quick use.
This is a pretty decent borescope, but it has a few things that limit its use-cases. It has a thick, tough gooseneck, but it is not terribly long and not quite as stiff as it should be. The picture is good, but not all that big and does not have any picture or movie capability. Well designed for single hand use and would be good unit for field inspections, where user may prefer the capability to swap out four AAs, rather than have to recharge the unit. That being said, the price point is pretty high for something with all those limitations. Other units that sell for about half the price have picture and movie storage, larger screens, and other features.
