Perfect
No problems at all. Just like Apple. Works perfect with my 11 Pro and Samsung 65” and vizio 40” for both replay of video and live video recording!

Streaming issues
Wanted to watch vids from my phone on the big screen. Discovered some apps like Netflix, HBO Max, etc... has a detection that prevents using this device to load videos which I’ve paid a service for from being able to show on my TV.

Works perfectly
I found that only the more expensive Apple compatible adapter works. This one works perfectly.

Know what your buying
As I now have read in a few other reviews, this adaptor doesn’t support Disney +, Netflix…etc. I originally bought it to use it with my iPad in our Honda. I wouldn’t say it’s totally worthless or misleading. It actually allowed me to stream utube videos from my iPhone to the car entertainment system. It shows a picture of what’s supported and not supported in the description. That’s my fault for not looking into it enough. It led me to scan the same QR code (mentioned in recent reviews) so I could download some app….yeah not gonna do that. Gonna just chalk it up to a $15-$20 dumb mistake. Not sure if something changed since last year, but all of the reviews from 2022 are 1-star. Hmmmm. Definitely would not buy nor recommend this.

Garbage
Once again Amazon sells complete garbage. This piece of garbage says it’s compatible with iPads but it’s not. It will not charge your device most of the time. There’s an extremely terrible lag most of the time. If you want to play a playlist sorry it’s not going to happen because you have to get up and turn your phone on and change the video every video because this is a piece of garbage. I would recommend spending the extra money and getting the real Apple version rather than buy this cheap garbage……. GARBAGE

Scam do not get!!
Videos do not play off of Hulu, Netflix, YouTube or Amazon. They try to make you download an app to use the device it also has to be plugged into an outlet just to use it. Do not buy if your using it to watch videos/ movies it won’t work. I updated the firmware like they said and it still doesn’t work. Do not waste your time buying this it would play movies you will get an error.
