Jimmy CarrJimmy Carr: Making People Laugh [DVD]

If I'm being picky then this wasn't quite as good as his "Laughing and Joking"  Jimmy Carr Live - Laughing and Joking [DVD ] DVD (from 2013) - and it def seemed to flow better when he came back after intermission - but I still loved it and laughed more than I do at other comics.I've noticed some reviewers preferred his earlier, cleaner stuff but (for me) he didn't stand out from the herd back then and it stands out that he was still learning his craft. I def prefer the stuff from this era forwards.I love the audience interaction (especially the bit about tempting a Dundee girl into a sex act using chips) and can't believe the chutzpah of inviting people, after the show, to "come say hello, get an autograph or get fingered". Judging by the number of women offering to get on the table that last option was well received...along with the one who wanted to lick his face (not sure I'd have let her - but he did). And you've got to admire the optimism of a man willing to take on 3 sisters...As I bought this "late in the day" (it's from 2010) the price is low....but I am sure it'll get played more than once. Bargain!

I get that he upsets some people, but if you buy a Jimmy Carr ticket you know what to expect. In terrific form here.

I am a huge Jimmy Carr fan, owning all of his stand up DVDs and having seen him in concert a couple of times, and I found this DVD to be one of his best yet. Jimmy is known for his one-liners and audience interaction, and he excels in both in this DVD. If you are not a fan of one-liners (for example as some of the negative reviewers stated) then a Jimmy Carr DVD probably isn't for you! But if you are a fan of Jimmy Carr then this DVD certainly will not disappoint! Fantastic DVD, highly recommended!

This is a great DVD for any Jimmy Carr fans.I bought this for a christmas present, so havent watched it myself but have been told that it is extremely funny and a great present.Ideal gift for any comedy fans.

If you like Jimmy Carr you will like this.Sadly with all the TV exposure these comedians get now you will hear jokes he has used before.
