This usb c to surface cable works great.The braided cable has a bit of memory but works well. I've used it for several months now and holds up great.The only downside of using the usb c to surface adapter cables is windows recoginizes it as a "slow charger". I haven't had any issues with it though. I plug it in while using it and it still charges just fine.Definitely recommend this cable.

Do not buy this krap! I bought it for emergencies and the first time I had to use it was today which I used on multiple battery back up supplies and not a damn one of them would work with this cable. The surface did not charge. This is the biggest POS I have ever purchased to date. Stay away. Buyer beware.

I use this cord for My Microsoft surface tablet. The cord that comes with the Surface has a brick attached to it. It must be mounted to the wall. But this allows you to use any USB-C to charge it and maintain the charge. So it says a lot of space in your bag. It works just as well as the original surface plug. I would recommend this.

And it did not break, I simply lost it. Buying another one.

This worked perfectly with my Surface Pro 3. I lost my charger for it a while ago but I have plenty of high wattage USB C blocks so this was a great solution. If I had a complaint it would be the cord is a bit on the shorter side but it comes in a nice case and works. Just make sure you have an appropriately powered charging block. If you are using a surface pro trying to use like...a wimpy iPhone charger won't generally work out. It needs a lot more watts then that. My original charger was 65w so you likely will want at least that but depends on your surface device.

Didn't work at all! Tried two different adapters too. GARBAGE!!!

Quality seems ok. I’ve used it a little bit but it charges my surface fine with a 45 watt block.
