I bought this for my daughter and she loved it. Although it is very very bright. I wish there was setting to lower the light or change the light color. We are also very disappointed in that her birthday was last week, the light was only turned on 2-3 times and is no longer working. The light did not even last a week.

I don't like glaring overhead lights in my office, so I use lamps. I don't want bright light...but want it to feel welcoming (not dark & creepy!) to clients. After positioning lamps in my new office, I found that one area needed more light. After looking for weeks for a wall light, I found nothing that would work. Then I found this Cinema Light Box! IT'S GREAT!! Bright enough to add light to the area, as I'd hoped...but not glaring at all. The bolder font of the letters is easier to read than similar offerings by other companies. The emojis are fun, too. I'll use it to advertise events and put up "encouraging words." Worked right out of the box. Perfect size for my needs, very lightweight too. Put it up yesterday morning with HAVE A GREAT DAY! I'm it. It's a small office, so my coworkers noticed it immediately. So did the realtor down the hall--he loved it & asked where I got it. It's the light I needed, and a clever, eye-catching way to communicate a message. And it's fun & easy, under $25. Kids would love it, but they can get their own--it's become a topic of conversation in less than 48 hours. Very pleased with this purchase! PS: mine uses the USB cord plugged into the wall with adaptor --I don't want to buy batteries. The light box can also run on batteries if you're somewhere without electricity.

I purchased this as a gift for my son's room and he love's it. Easy to set up and use, he did it all by himself. This light is BRIGHT! It will light up his entire bedroom.

I bought this with high hopes after seeing so many great reviews. After purchasing I found that the cord this came with was just about 6-8 inches too short for my purposes, which was no fault of its own but was very frustrating. So, I decided to put batteries in it as an alternate solution.However, the plastic on this thing is so cheap and flimsy that it barelyholds the eight batteries in at all. The results this gives is flickery inconsistent light which is very annoying. When the batteries aren't barely held into place (where about 4 hang out of the back) the whole thing justpops off and explodes 8 AA batteries everywhere. It's just cheap, not worth 20 bucks. 2 stars because besides lighting it, it's very cute and fun to play with.Update! I recieved a personal letter and a longer cord in the mail. The company took inititive and the customer service was amazing. They even added the longer cord to all production further! This was very impressive to me and I recommend this much more now!

Box is clearly well built with a nice USB power adaptor or batteries. In my opinion what makes this item better than others is it includes multiple letter & emoji sets so there should be less of an issue crafting phrases with requiring redundant letters. Additionally, the letters provided are all printed on nice plastic.Recommendation:i) to help more quickly find the letters for completing a message I would get some Avery business card plastic sheet holders for putting the letters in. This makes an amazing difference even though the letters are nicely packaged with a durable cardboard holder.ii) when separating the letters initially I would "carefully" pull them apart as they have a nice plastic coating on them. Although this plastic coating can be removed if you pull the letters carefully you do not need to remove the plastic film.

I opened this as soon as it arrived and it’s PERFECT for our movie night. I’m sure it’ll have a bunch of other fun uses in the future as well. All the letters and emojis looked good and were lined up. It only took 3 AA batteries (I thought I read it took 4).

I love this Cenema Light Box! I had been to a hotel last year that had one of these in their rooms and we enjoyed putting messages up on it. I have been thinking about getting one and so glad I did! This Light box is fantastic! I enjoy leaving my family messages on it and getting them in return. It is a lot of fun! I have put it in my kitchen, on the counter, right next to my outlet that has a usb port. I was going to originally hang it on a wall, but this is working out great! Having it on the counter makes it accessable to my 7 year old, who loves to use it as well! Great fun, great value, product is just as I desired!

Product is cute and the letters and emojis are nice but the box itself is cheaply made. The first time I put in the brand new batteries it kept turning on and off and glitching. I changed the batteries again just to be sure and the box continue to flicker on and off. If you don’t plan to use the light then the product is ok but if your interested in using the light up option then this product is not worth the money.

The size of this cinema light box is nice. It is big enough but still looks great on a desk. It can fit 30 letters or other characters. The package comes with a lot more letters than the previous one I purchased. The light box is a hard plastic box so it is extremely light weight. I always believe in paying a little more for a better product. I do think this light box is still a little too expensive with the materials provided. Nonetheless, this would be a nice gift for most people.

I expected to get 93 emoji tiles as advertised (including "new" and "movie night" emojis), however only 35 basic emojis were in the box. Also the battery contacts are bad, only works some of the time if you jiggle it around. Plugged in is fine.

Loved this as it was a gift for my daughter, she uses it daily. It can be battery operated and or plugged in to the wall outlet. So many letters included and cute little emojis and such to add flare to whatever your wording out! Highly Recommended

Bought this for my 12 year old niece. Loved the mix of letters and emojis that came with this. Also, as a bonus the seller emails inspirational quotes that you can use on the lightbox.
