Blade doesn't slide forward easily - may need to loosen
I got this to remove the old annual county stickers from off our vehicles that show we paid our property taxes so we have access to the county landfill. (Also works to take off old inspection stickers & college and work parking stickers)It didn't come with directions - I guess I was just supposed to KNOW that you're to slide it forward to use the blade. It's supposed to slide up pretty easily but it didn't for me. You may have to unscrew the screw a little to enable it to slide better. I had a rough time getting it to move up. But once I did, I very easily got the stickers off the windshield of our vehicle. This is an excellent price and does the job well! (Again, once I got the blade moved up. I also had issues moving it back down. Loosening that screw should help!)

Sharp and Easy to Use Utility Scraper - Peeled Flooring Glue Off With No Effort At All
I had to replace some old flooring trim transition strips between two rooms and when I pulled up the old pieces, there was thick, hardened glue residue that had to be removed before I could install the new transition strips.I tried using a putty knife, but this made things SO much easier. It peeled it off PERFECTLY clean without even a hint of leftover glue.I was able to use this to scrape off some moldy buildup in our bathroom shower, and to remove some old caulking around our kitchen sink. It's a great item!Just make sure to keep fresh, sharp blades installed and you'll be good to go!

A real metal and solidly built razor, however has some flaws
I picked this up to scrape my ceramic stovetop about once a month when I have build up. Most razors fully retract inside itself, however this one doesn't. The razor doesn't really extend out all that much, which may be a good or bad thing. It works fine on my GE stovetop to remove some stubborn build up as needed. The razor can be flipped for a fresh blade use. Now for the down side, this doesn't take standard razor refills as shown in the pictures. I have no idea where you would even purchase these from. I looked on amazon for a couple minutes and couldn't find any quite like these. Unforunately when the razor blade goes, I am going to have to toss this razor blade holder which is a waste as it is built solidly. I hope the manufacturer can address this issue soon.Final thoughts, while it is a well built razor, the blade doesn't fully retract which could injure you or someone else if not handled with care. Also given that it doesn't come with any extra blades other than the one that you flip and no replacements are available, I would keep on looking for a better razor. No, I would not recommend or purchase again.

Flimsy not at all heavy duty
I tried to use this product to scrape some new paint off of a glass window. It lasted 1 pass before the blade pushed back into the assembly. I was never able to secure it tightly enough to finish the job. I bought a scraper from Lowes that worked perfectly for less money

Great idea, heavy duty, poor design, does not work
2-27-24 Addition: These special blades fit this and other tools are available on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0811C3HZ5/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=A3PHJAWTNC9IV5&th=1This tool does take a special blade which was included. But, it will not hold blade in place, because the small posts that fit into blade holes are not square-sholdered, but rounded pressed metal, see photos. This scraper is a great idea and is built very well, except that it will not hold the blade in place. Amazon provides the following warning when ordering this item: "This is an often returned item! Please be sure to read the description before placing your order." We looked carefully and thought perhaps folks just didn't understand that it does not use a standard utility knife blade, or they couldn't figure out the mechanics of using it. We have other tools that use this odd blade well, but this tool is useless. We had hoped for good, strong scraper.

Great for home repairs
Nice little solid scraper. Doesn’t feel dirt cheap or anything. Seems to do as I need it for some home repairs. Took some getting used to get the blade to lift upward.

OK ergonomics but be aware that it doesn't use standard/common single-edge razor blades
I use a razor scraper to shave paint drips and clean up edges. This is probably not the tool for that. It may be useful in other contexts (e.g., cleaning glass cook tops). For me:Pros -Ergonomic handleOnly exposes a small amount of bladeScraper-specific blade has rounded corners so it's less likely to gougeCons -Non-standard blade (not sure where to get replacements)Requires a tool (specifically a slotted screwdriver or coin) to expose the blade and to cover the blade.Protrusion on underside limits how shallow an angle the scraper can be used at (probably not a problem for glass scraping but prevents shaving down a bump)

Great For Scraping Address Labels Off Boxes
The Karinear Razor Blade Scraper Tool is a great product for scraping off labels on boxes, paint off wall, and cleaning oven glass. I just learned something new about scraping the oven glass. The scraper is heavy duty and work well. Great to have a few around the house for all your needs. I recommend the Razor Blade Scraper Tool.
