So far, I’m loving my new head unit! I actually have recommended this to several of my friends who are owners of Ram trucks! Installation was a breeze! Took me about 1 hour to complete the install and that’s including wiring up a new front view camera. One thing I have to say about this unit is there is TONS of options that a stock head unit doesn’t provide. Apple CarPlay, Android auto, better equalizer, online and offline Navigation, plus many more. A big selling point for me was the fact that I was able to retain all of my factory menus that were included in the stock Uconnect head unit that came with the truck, along with my OEM backup camera. I do not have the volume control buttons on my steering wheel, but I do have the voice command button and the phone button which are now linked to Siri while using CarPlay and the phone button assists with answering calls and hanging up. One major thing I want to note, when I initially installed the new head unit I followed the instructions provided to set up the canbus by selecting my vehicle type. Doing this did not immediately make the vehicle options menu or steering wheel controls operable. I initially thought there was some additional wiring that I needed to do or an update that I needed to do to the canbus, so I reached out to the Navifly team and Levy kindly responded with some suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue. I realized after talking to Levy that I needed to reboot the unit after making my selections in the car model menu to get the functionality of the car options and steering wheel controls. Super simple! In conclusion this is an excellent product, looks great, works great, and has a ton of options with retaining all of the factory options and controls! Levy from Navifly was super helpful and provided top notch customer service! Buy it now & Don't forget to reboot!

Installation was a little tricky. First, as some have stated, the bevel on this stereo does not fit perfect without some modification. Used a dremel to cut away some plastic to make it flush, no big deal and looks good now. Wiring was straight forward, but it's a lot of wires to fit in the dash. Lots of zip ties to keep it straight. Settings. This is where I'm having issues. First, all readings are in metric (temperature and miles) and though I found a few places in settings to correct this, it doesn't work. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but since this ties into the CANBUS in the truck, the dash shows outside temp in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Second, on the reverse camera the lines move opposite the steering wheel, and though I'd rather just turn the guidance lines off, this setting also doesn't seem to work. Last, and biggest issue, my fog lights no longer work! Again, found several settings for lights but none of them seem to make a difference. I have emailed customer service and waiting for a fix. Sound, played with the EQ and numerous settings this stereo has and got it to sound really good. Clear, crisp, and a definite improvement over the stock stereo. Android Auto, a little tricky to connect sometimes, but once it connects it works well. Screen has zero lag and several options for layout. Overall it's a much better stereo than the stock one (which went blank on me) and I do recommend it. Hopefully the settings issues will get fixed and will then give it 5 stars. As several have stated, the customer service is excellent! Levy helped fix all the errors and all is good now. Great upgrade to my truck!

First, I will preface this review with knowing I am only a week into having this installed. The initial install was not bad. Not perfect, and some things get lost in translation, or just aren't shown. Some wiring is a bit non-standard and there is A LOT of it. There is definitely a bunch of extra wiring that may, or may not be needed for your particular model...and it isn't very clear what they are. That said...a little patience and it's a very clean setup. Fitment was pretty great, AFTER I removed some original bezel plastic with a dremel, and it does require removing more than you think. It was all on the upper portion and just parts of the original radio mounting supports. Once done, fit was almost perfect. Functionally, it worked right away, and worked smooth. Everything was clear, and fairly obvious. The only drawback to the layouts for the screen are that it will rely heavily on built in Nav...which is fine, if you want to run that. I do not. I also loathe Android Auto. I will use it ONLY when I need nav, otherwise, everything goes through standard bluetooth. A lot of people complained about sound. Now, am I an audiophile...no. However, out of the box, it sounded better, and louder than stock. I do NOT have the built in amps and alpine system. I have my own hardware in there for that, and had ZERO issues with adjusting the sound. The built in equalizer is extremely substantial for adjustments. If you have the built in audio system, then take a little time to adjust the radio to work with it, it's fairly easy. Adjustments I needed out of the box. I do not have electronic heat controls, but the screen keeps a snowflake on all the time. Easy fix. In the Touch Control app, just turn it off. Next, I had a weird issue with the temp reading on the radio itself being stuck on C. I just went into the display settings and turned off the display of the temp. Not a big deal, thats on my main cluster. Now...the only headache, which, to be fair was NOT the radio. The rear camera. I have an aftermarket in the latch style (it kinda sucks). But the radio has MANY options for wiring a camera and definitely not straight forward because there are many different cameras. THe instructions do have the wiring info for this, the trigger power wire thats with thte rca cable must be connected to the third wire, above the red on the main power harness. G5. In my cameras case, I have to connect ALL the wires in the back to respective wires, trigger, 12v, and ground. IF THIS IS GOING IN YOUR RAM, just do the easy thing. Drop the spare tire, and splice into the rear trailer wiring. It'll save all the headache and potential issues with trying to get into the tail lights. Assuming the canbus is set properly, all your controls still work! All mine do! I wouldn't mess with it, but apparently you can customize them too. Lastly. Support. These people are amazing! 10/10. Their email and whatsapp info is on the paperwork and they respond immediately (time zones taking into account). Every question I had they politely and quickly gave me an answer. Very very helpful, so yes, as of one week in, I recommend this radio as an alternative to the $1k systems that average joe may not need.

Love my new head unit. Works flawlessly and I never have such good customer service ever ! There is everything you need and way more option than factory radio. Would defenetly buy again .

Installed in my 2018 RAM Express. Installation was a breeze except I had to snip off couple of retaining clips on the inside so it would sit flush in my dash. In terms of functionality, its truly plug and play. All factory settings are accessible. Factory backup camera works. Android Auto was easy to setup. Factory center console USBs still work (though I taped the connectors together behind the radio as they seemed to disconnect whenever I attempted to put the radio back into the dash). Once I played with the EQ, it really woke the basic stock factory system up. I got the fully loaded unit and its zippy with zero lag. Developer / factory settings pin is 3368 which was on the included printout and I assume works for all of these models. Search Youtube for MekedeTech / Navifly head units for other PINs. Those videos often have the PIN numbers you need to access advanced settings (like the backlight current settings [PIN is 5768), I found it to be to dim at max settings but backlight current settings let you raise the maximum and minimum levels once you have the PIN. Dont go set the max threshold to 100. It will cause blinking. I keep mine at 85). Screen is made of a soft material and will scratch super easy so be sure to buy a screen protector.

Better than OEM, great product quality just plug and play easy to install. Smooth interface no lags or bugs when scrolling pages or changing apps

Super easy to install, only need a couple screwdrivers. Note to get button backlights to stay on; splice the red and orange wires coming from the CANBOX and have your backlight set to small lights. Finally, if you want your OEM USB to work on CarPlay - purchase a idatalink maestro for ram 1500. Everything works as advertised and looks very nice, highly recommended. Wireless CarPlay works perfect as well. Great for the price!

This is the third radio ive bought from This company. 2 for rams and 1 for my wifes santa fe. With a little bit of knowledge these install and fit well. The android auto and carplay are really the only reason they were bought but the radio does so much more. Also the customer service is second to none. Texting through WhatsApp is convenient and they walk step by step through any problem i had. I only had problems with the first one and it was only because i didnt know exactly how to set them up. All in all its great for the price
