This was invaluable when my mum broke her arm. She found it very comfortable and the fit was excellent because it is easy to adjust.

Does its job and easy to adjust
Bought for my Dad who had a stroke and used to support left arm, Easy to put on, lightweight and supports hand and shoulder which is what he needed. The velcro straps make it easy to adjust and the added thumb hook supports his hand, the mesh fabric is surprising supportive as on 1st impressions I thought it might be too 'flimsy', but as soon as it was on with the velcro straps it provides a good support.

Gives comfort and great support
After an arm injury this was exactly what was needed to support a painful arm and shoulder. Good quality materials and design with padded shoulder support, velcro fastening and thumb support. Glad we bought it!

Not quite right.
Having broken my humerus just below the shoulder joint the hospital in France put me in a medieval instrument of torture - a thick, hot, too large , open elbow, arm sling plus body ,strapping and told me to keep it on 24/7 for four weeks. It was so uncomfortable, mainly because all the straps kept slipping so that I wasn't supported at all even though i was sleeping sitting up, that I ordered this one to be able to use when i got back home and it was delivered very promptly the day I arrived. The fabric part itself is very comfortable and I am much happier with it than the first but I have had trouble with the strap. First it does not stay in position as in the photograph and my arm slips backwards meaning that the strap pushes against my neck at the front chafing it and half choking me meaning that I have to keep pulling it over and it wakes me when I fall asleep.Another problem is the velcro fastening to shorten the strap. The velcro has very sharp rigid plastic edges which cut into my neck at the back. A friend has shaved these edges down as much as possible to try to make the velcro attach within the width of the underneath strap but because it joins at the full width of the upper strap it isn't completely possible although it is now much better. I still have to push a cloth between the strap and my neck to cushion it.This problem could be eliminated if the underneath strap was wider allowing the full width of the velcro to attach to the padded part leaving a margin at either side or the velcro being narrower. It strikes me as a classic case of not testing properly before manufacturing. I'm just hoping that I won't have to use it for too long.

Fantastic Support
Really good - my 8 Y/O daughter recently hurt her elbow, and had a temporary protective cast on it which became a little too flexible with use. Bought this to ensure that the arm stayed at the correct angle, and supported the weight of the cast. She loves wearing it. It is very flexible in length adjustment. Very well ventilated and cool even in hot weather. The only slight negative is that, if you have relatively short forearms (like an 8 Y/O), you will find the hand rests inside the sling itself. In my daughter's case, this wasn't a particular concern. It is possible to roll back the wrist area somewhat anyway.

5* Support for a Broken Elbow
Having fractured my elbow, I was supplied with a rubber foam collar and cuff. This just seemed too low for my arm and if I made it any higher, I couldn't get my head through the reminding gap. Additionally, the foam around your neck is very hot.Having done some research on Amazon I chose this one and it is brilliant. Totally adjustable with the foam bit reading across your head and down the side of your shoulder at the back. The mesh at the front means it is cool and very supportive of the whole forearm. A cheeky use is that you can put your phone etc in the mesh so that at least you can have one hand free. It also blends well with dark clothing!

Great sling. Adjustable height
Great.Comfortable. Easy wash. Deep support to elbow. Fully adjustable strap length (I've used to elevate hand after surgery). Can be used either arm. Mesh design. Just perfect, exactly what needed.

So far so good
Much better than the one my husband left hospital with as that was too short for his arm and had so many straps it was like a medieval torture device crossed with a monkey puzzle. This one encloses his whole arm and has just the one strap, so a lot simpler, but easier to hoist up his arm to elevate, which he needs to do for stabilising his shoulder injury. Lightweight fabric and watch the velcro sticking to everything, but that happens with velcro on any product to be fair. For him, definitely worth the investment vs the hospital one.
