I've been using my cuticle cutters to make my polygel or nail tips shorter (as I really don't like longer nails & play the guitar). This is a MAJOR upgrade. It cuts smoothly, quickly & is higher quality than I was expecting given the lower cost of the item, so great value. I would especially recommend this if you're a guitar/piano player like myself & need to be able to cut already done nails here & there for performances. It cuts so clean that I can use it while I'm doing my nails or after there already done. Durability is good, as I have already traveled with it not in any kind of case—it's functioning beautifully. Since the entire clipper is metal, I can safely tuck the magnetic circular parts to help keep all nails the same length under the handles that are curved which is perfect; not sure if it was intended that way, but it's a good way to keep it all together. It's not overly big either; the size is slightly larger than your typical cuticle cutter, so it's easy to store. Color is vibrant so if you like magenta, you'll love that; I'm just glad it's easy to spot in the drawers of all my nail things lol. Could not recommend more.

I've only used these one time so far but I was clipping down false nails I had gotten done at the salon and they cut them like butter. They seem sturdy and easy to use. I do wish they had some kind of textured grip on the handles but overall, I like them and will continue to use.

This is very handy to have if you struggle with making nails the same length! The size is perfect and not bulky, they have an even clip each time. The grip is nice and not too hard to squeeze. The quality is pretty decent. I would recommend this as a nail trimmer for your clients
