While clearing out our spare room and turning it back into a bedroom I discovered my old vinyl collection and instantly felt the urge to play some of the old records. I needed somewhere to store the LPs safely out of the way and spotted this unit. Albums/LP size records fit on the bottom shelf really well and the unit is robust enough to hold them - but - the positioning of where the wire shelf is designed to sit is just a couple of cms too low so I can't make use of that without making some other adaptations to the unit (I might attempt to cobble together some little risers in order to lift the wire shelf by the desire amount). The height of the unit is a little on the lower side too but it will be big enough to take a small record player once I get one (but speakers will need to sit elsewhere). All in all, a neat and tidy little unit, ideal as a low bed side table or end of sofa table. Very easy to put together and seems very strong. It matches another similar unit I had recently bought (same faux wood finish and black metal frames) so that is good! I didn't want to pay much for something to suit my purposes and this unit was just right.
