We have built a Cube for Magic the Gathering. Our cube has 540 cards, then you count the lands of 100 of each, and that put us into the 1040 cards. I was very worried if I was gonna be able to find that many same style and colored sleeves with in a good price range. Yes this only provided me around 1000 sleeves to accomplish what we are doing, but that would be very easy with a purchase of one more box of 100.
