Violin Exam Pieces from 2024, ABRSM Grade 7, Violin Part & Piano Accompaniment (ABRSM Exam Pieces)

Getting the version with Piano Accompaniment correctly. As requested by teacher, this fulfils the task.Just that I don't like using or seeing ABC123 pieces in competition and performances. We always see many participants playing same pieces because they're just in ABC123 of these standard ABRSM books. Regardless these are great pieces anyway, do people play pieces or taking exams outside of overplayed boring ABC123???

ABRSM discontinued audio downloads in Nov 2024. If you order this version, the audio download link/code does not work. I am returning this and will order the version which does not include the audio download code...MUCH cheaper. Amazon should not be offering this version.

I bought this book because I am working towards taking my grade 7 exam.Sometimes it’s very difficult to find pieces that you like in an exam book, but in this case, I found it very easy. There are nine pieces in this book, and there are two parts of the book. The first part is the violin part, which has just the violin music. The other part of the book is the score, which contains the violin part and the piano accompaniment. (So it is basically two books in one, the score is a separate book which is inserted into the violin part when you buy it.)The print size is just right and the print quality is super, very easy to read and clear even from a distance.I noticed that there is a good sprinkling of female composers represented in this exam list, including Mel Bonis, Florence B Price and Ethel Barns. It is great to see that the ABRSM are making an effort to use the music from these excellent female composers in their exam repertoire. The pieces by Mel Bonis and Florence Price are both great fun to play (and quite challenging, as they should be at grade 7 level).There is also downloadable audio to go with this book, which consists of the piano accompaniment for each of the pieces that have an accompaniment, plus a full performance of each piece with violin and piano. I only wish I could play as well as the violin player in these recordings!

If takes the ABRSM exam it is inevitable needed. All well printed and no issues whatsoever. One star down is just if the price could be more friendly…

Missing Piano Accompaniment & Audio

Not good service at all. The item is supposed to have the violin pieces and the piano accompaniment. My son has an exam and we needed this on time. BUT only the piano accompaniment was delivered, arghhh.
