Life Changing Clippers
These clippers are absolutely amazing. I have a female 7.5kg / 16.5Lbs Maine Coon who is a 100% hot mess. Grows fur like it’s an Olympic sport and she’s constantly in training for the gold medal. When it’s shedding season or starts to warm up, she immediately becomes a mass of knots and matting. For the past 18 months I’ve been using (at my vet’s recommendation) a very expensive professional Andis grooming clipper set. I assumed they were as good as it gets.I was so very wrong. These Masterclip Showmate clippers are epic. As an Australian who has handled sheep shears, I can say these are easy and smooth as a clean shear. They’re not heavy, they’re not loud, they’re much cooler to the touch than my more expensive set, and they clip through super fine yet wildly thick cat fur like Death at a reaping party.I watched a review on YouTube before I bought these where the tester said they clipped like a hot knife through butter. I flat didn’t believe her; I was wrong. These are absolutely the clippers for anyone who has a long haired cat who needs a lot of maintenance. Sanitary shave in seconds and de-matts with unbelievable ease.I will be raving about these clippers for the rest of my life.

Easy to use and cuts well
Early days but seems to do exactly what I wanted. Cuts well. Not noisy but not exactly quiet either. Our dog didn't mind them. Only annoyance was the item was covered in oil so I presume too much was applied on the blades by the factory and it got everywhere. Battery good enough for one long grooming session. Seems odd that they're slightly cheaper on Amazon than from the maker direct...

Best value for money and high performance
I have tried several pairs of clippers to trim my springerpoo. Used professional once but for £60 I felt it was ridiculous! I used to be a hairdresser and kept horses who I clipped hundreds of times. Problem was my horse clippers were huge, not practical at all, and I didn’t have long guards to enable to clip a dog. After buying a pair of clippers for about £30 which were rubbish and got clogged up with hair after a minute, needing cleaning under the blades. I eventually tried these, and the difference was amazing, cut very cleanly and are very easy to remove guards and blades to keep clipping for longer. They still work out a blooming sight cheaper, than a pro. If a bargain looks too good to be true, it probably IS !!!!!!! They say a bad workman blames their tools, but you really can’t do the job right without the right equipment. I think I may buy some tiny ones for between her little toes. 😆

Excellent
I have an elderly cat, who over the last 12 months has greatly reduced his grooming. The matting was evidently needing attention back 6 months ago, but I had to wait until warm summer weather to get his fur clipped. The vet wanted to charge £230 + vat to get him clipped up, so I decided to do the job myself, and wanted to make sure I got clippers that were up to the job, and not too noisy . We got him clipped up over the course of a few days, and although he wasn't happy, he begrudgingly tolerated for 10 min sessions. You have to be careful and work gently to get under each matt to remove, also making sure blades don't get too hot against the skin, and that you don't accidentally nick the skin. The clippers performed brilliantly, and only one midway charge was needed. End result - uncomfortable matting was successfully removed (with great care), our cat is visibly happier, and his movement is less restricted. Hopefully brushing and less intensive clipping will ensure his coat doesn't get to the same state again.
