AIRCARE MAF1 Replacement Wicking Humidifier Filter (1)

We've been satisfied users of the the Aircare MAF1 wick humidifier for about 10 years. Here in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the humidity is very low much of the year, I consider it essential. We keep our humidifier set at 50% humidity, and when the indicator drops much below that level we insert a new wick humidifer. We use a lot MAF1 wicks that way, which is why I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5 for "longevity," but I think it's worth doing for our respiratory well-being.

The filters came in OEM packaging and 3 months in on the first filter they are performing as described. You can see from my photos I have figured out how to make them fit perfectly with some cheap cable Tys.I have been using these for three seasons of Fall into Summer and am well satisfied with the quality.

Since my favorite humidifier wick from Complete Filtration Services became unavailable, I was forced to try others for my Aircare. This one is decent, lasts decent time without collapse, but is a bit expensive, so I try to wait as long as possible before starting the humidifier in the winter.

Great filter for my humidifier. Distributes water evenly ensuring even transfer of moisture.

Expensive but evaporates more water faster and raised house humidity level more than other wicks. Does it with humidifier fan running at lower and quieter speed than other brands of wicks.

When our local stores stopped carrying filters for our humidifier, I looked on Amazon. They are exactly as we have always purchased, mailed right to the front door and work perfect!

Like how easy to exchange when needed.

The filter that I received was slightly different than the filter that came with the unit although it worked I had to MacGyver it a little bit and I assume it's because it's more of a generic filter that fits many different models all in all I wasn't overly impressed with the value of this product

Just as good quality as the OEM Kenmore filter and fits my machine perfectly. Pumps a lot of moisture into the air fast, so in just 7 hours it's brought my house humidity level up to a higher level than the (much cheaper) Crucial filter I tried last time was ever capable of doing, and I live in a very dry part of the country. The one supplied by Amazon.ca is the EssickAIR OEM filter, unlike a lot of the reviews on Amazon.com which state they received a filter that wasn't OEM.

Good quality

Very pleased; The best filter I've been able to find so far. It absorbs water and performs well for up to 10 days but most importantly you can wash it rinse it dry it and reuse it many different times. Other filters are not like that .
