I bought this as a replacement. My late father passed some time ago and he had a black leather wallet like this but over the years, it became warped and eventually split, so I bought this. You can smell the leather and it comes in a little box. I use it primarily for convienience, I go to football matches a lot and it is very annoying when you go to stadiums and they refuse to accept money, then you go to buy a programme and it's cash only, so in that respect it is a lifesaver. All in all it is a great little coin purse but the emphasis is on little as it will not hold a lot of money, I put a five pound note in it and I have a pop coin holder from the 80's which holds five, one pound coins, the two things combined fill the purse.

Nice large leather coin wallet very well made holds a good amount of loose change just the right size to fit into you're trouser pockets ect. This is the best coin storage i have come across so far. so then if like me.? you don't like trouser pockets full of loose change then this is for you. i myself use this for my loose change and a cash wallet for my notes as i myself find this to be very helpfull and very useful at the end of the day i also like the space provided at the bottom side when you open it to help you sort out your coinage without coins falling out onto the floor so far so good. Unfortunately the gap left for money to slide out from the purse body into the lid is too small and the result is that coins jam in body. I am persevering with it but I have to open the gap with a finger each time I use it. It's a case of a well made quality product which is badly designed.
