DO THE RESEARCH! This unit surpasses market options.1) Hose comes out straight up so only bends 1 place where inserts to window attachment.2) Diameter of hose much larger then many competitors. (Produces more cooling.)3) New cooling measure identifies how well device ACTUALLY cools. This LG out ranks competition for performance.4) Purchased more power then needed cools quickly..and all nite.5) Window attachment excellent design works well.6) Also my old competitor model's new version ranked HALF as well in Energy Efficacy as 10 year old model...REALLY! 😐7) Purchased insulation for hose that goes from unit to window ...HOSE REMAINS SO MUCH COOLER then old unit ... not bothering to use instillation sock. Initially when turned on hose is warm but nowhere near hot like old friga model.8) Filters easy to pop off and clean.So pleased with LG! Nice when a product shows by performance & design they care about customers!Old competitor had thermostat issues..would decide in MIDDLE OF NITE to work less. This one works ..and not even pushing it's capacity.What a pleasure to have a reliable in every way unit...worlds better then old competitor...and I thought it was good!Love this unit! I BUY NEW!!!!I BUY NEW NEW NEW!
