Great as a gift. Colour change only where the heat transfers from the liquid inside. So if it isn't filled to the top, it leaves a black ring. Mug is quite thick

Started off a nice gift and an interesting feature having the cup change colour to reveal a nice message. However, after less than 3 weeks use and going through the dishwasher a few times, the cup has started to de-laminate on the top edge.

This is a really beautiful mug. Wife loved it. However, one thing about this mug. Do not put it into the dishwasher. Wash by hand only. I put it into the dishwasher only for the writing started to peal off on the mug.
