loved it!
This series gets better with every book honestly. Neri is hands down my favourite character. The sexual tension and the spice in this book is *chefs kiss*. The character development of both nephele and neri was great. Sooo excited for the next book

I Love this couple!
This book was not what I was expecting it to be. But it was so much better! To other characters, be the centre of attention, added to the overall series tremendously! I have absolutely fallen in love with Neri. He is now my God!

Great bridge connection
The book connects well the next book in the series and gives a new perspective to the story and characters.

Missing pages
At the beginning of several chapters pages are missing. Disappointed. Otherwise fairly typical fantasy. Hope it can be rectified soon.

Excellent third instalment in the Witch Walker Series
I was incredibly excited to read this book especially after the events of City of Ruin left me reeling, and TWatW certainly delivered. I was pleasantly surprised by how many questions this book answered. It was also interesting to see how Nephele’s relationships and interactions with the other characters differ from Raina’s. The world building was excellent making the book very immersive. Additionally, I think the story fits into the series rather seamlessly. I did think the book felt a little rushed towards the end, and the plot wasn’t quite as strong as the plot in CoR, but considering this is a novella, Charissa has written an extremely enjoyable read which will leave the reader eager for book 4.

PERFECTION
I’ve been a huge fan of Charissa’s Witch Walker series since the release of The Witch Collector. I’ve spoken about the series at length, and constantly recommend it to anyone looking for their next fantasy romance kick. The reason I start my review with this context is that if you are one of the many people who I’ve recommended this to already, or if you’ve read the previous books, you’ll know how much I adore Raina and Alexus. They are just ~chef’s kiss~ and after the EXTREME cliffhanger of book two, I could not wait to find out what happened next for them.So when Charissa shared the title & blurb for book three, I was a little bit conflicted. Obviously excited because releasing another book after just six months is an incredible turnaround time and this woman writes absolute magic. But, I was also quite heartbroken to find out that book three was a novella focused on Raina’s sister, Nephele, and her journey with the white wolf instead. Now, no shade to Nephele whatsoever because we already know she’s just as badass as her sister from books 1 & 2, but the thought of not getting closure KILLED ME.I should have had more faith because unlike so many other novellas, this book isn’t fluff intended to distract from the primary plot. Flowing incredibly cohesively, it picks up right where City of Ruin left off, but the story is told from Nephele & Neri’s POV (with more Alexus scenes than I was anticipating, thank you!!!). While Raina’s not featured, she is mentioned and I did feel like I got a certain element of closure through those scenes (thank you, Fleurie! I’m warming to you!).While I’m still counting down the days to Kingdom of the Forgotten’s release, the ache is definitely lessened. Charissa’s work continues to exceed my expectations, The Wolf and the Witch is an unputdownable page turner that has the perfect balance of both plot and character development, along with a healthy dose of banter and spice.

Not to be missed!
The perfect follow-up to a very strong series. Mild spoilers.Presented as a novella, this book still comes in at over 300 pages and covers a lot of ground. Despite our central character Raina being absent after THAT cliffhanger at the end of book two, you do not want to miss this installment to the series. This book centres on Nephele and Neri after their deal and it flows perfectly, with all chapters told in their dual POV. Both characters shine here, they make a great team and of course there is some very well written spice, banter and angst. I particularly liked how every character played a part in some way and the book wasn't completely centred on those two - although I do really like both characters. Neri has hidden depths when it comes to Nephele, which are explored sensitively and in a balanced way - from the start of the series I really hoped he would play a strong part and here we are! Nephele is brilliant and brave and I can't wait to see what will become of her 'curse'. It was very well done to give both of them that focus, yet move the story along without Raina - there is more to this series than just Raina and Alexus, which serves to strengthen the story even more without taking anything away. I can't imagine this book being any better in all honesty, Charissa Weaks is a very talented author and this series has to be up there with the best of romantic fantasy. Zero negative feedback from me!
