The product seems to be good quality and the installation is simple as long as you’re familiar with outlet/GFCI installation (watch a YouTube video if you aren’t). The tamper resistant feature can be a bit annoying and can even lead people who are unfamiliar with TR to think the outlet is broken. However, electrical code is beginning to require TR outlets in certain spaces.

The wiring instructions were simple and to the point. Eaton has always made quality parts. just wish they would manufacture in America still, would be glad to use more especially if they said made in America.....

It seems to be an ok outlet. the tamper resistant tabs make it very hard to connect appliances with 2 prong plugs to it.

My only tip for Eaton is that the line/load terminals are opposite of every other GFCI outlet model I have used. Besides this, these Eatons are great, easy to use, and I have not had a single of the ~20 I have installed fail. I have quite a few because my 1980s 5,200 sqft home didn't originally come with many, so I have done quite a bit of retrofit work.

One of the receptacles worked and I had no issues. The second receptacle turned out to be faulty. By the time I found out I had missed the window for a return. Leviton seems to be the most reliable.

I use eaton for all my electrical diy improvements replacing outlwts, switches breakers, in my opinion is the best quality and never failed. Amazon's price is better than big boxes stores in addition to a fast delivery.
