Cuisinart Coffee Station
This Cuisinart coffe station takes care of all my beverage needs. I especially like the variety of cup settings and availability of k cups or nespresso cups. Having the milk steamer, which is of easy use if you use a short container. If you need a larger amount of steamed milk you have to be able to have the unit close to the edge of the counters so you can hold a larger container to contain the milk with depth for frothing.

UPDATED - DO NOT BUY!
UPDATED REVIEW - UNIT NEEDS A MAJOR OVERHAULThe clean function for the single serve coffee maker portion of the unit DOES NOT EXIST! I repeat, DOES NOT EXIST! I went to descale my unit for the first time. I referenced the instructions specifically for cleaning the single serve coffee maker cleaning unit on page 19 under “cleaning the water reservoir” step 1, item number 3. It specifically states to rotate the start/stop knob to clean and press the start/stop knob to begin the scale. The clean indicator will flash. Well, there is absolutely no clean function on my unit that is displayed when I rotate the start stop knob! I must’ve tried a half a dozen times, rotating the knob very slow. The only functions I have when I rotate that knob are a couple sizes for espresso, a couple sizes for K cups, a steam and a hot water function. THAT’S ALL! There is a clean button on my unit, however, that is strictly for the large coffee pot side of the unit to clean that part of it. So I found out the hard way after not seeing the clean function displayed when you turn the start/stop knob. So, I pressed the “clean” button and my unit started making a gurgling noise like it was going to brew a large pot of coffee on that side of the unit. So I had to unplug the unit and plug it back in. Then just followed the steps regarding how much vinegar and water to use just using a regular brew cycle for the whole process. I’m not sure who designed this unit and/or wrote the instruction booklet, but it’s totally convoluted and messed up! And that wand, as so many other reviewers have expressed disgust with, is way too long. When I was descaling the hot water part of the unit, when the cup got filled under the wand I actually had to turn the unit around towards my sink to take the cup out from underneath the wand so it was over my sink, so as not to have hot water all over my counter. I would not recommend this piece of GARBAGE to anyone! It’s more trouble than it’s worth, it’s defective, and just run far away from it! I know I will definitely not buy another one of these!PS… As others have also mentioned, the reservoir unit leaks at times (and I have it FLUSH with the unit).Purchased this back in September. I have seen a lot of complaints regarding K cups, exploding and leaking all over the place after making coffee. I had the same issue until I learned after a couple of times that if you leave the pods in the coffee maker for quite a while, and then remove them, You’ll be OK. I now also place the used K cup into a coffee mug and carry it over to the garbage can that way just to be on the safe side.It took a couple times of coffee grounds ending up on my kitchen counter and my kitchen floor, which was totally ridiculous. A complaint I do have is with brewing a big pot. I always set mine on a timer and I can hear it upstairs in bed when it starts to brew and it Makes a loud banging noise as it’s brewing. I’m considering reaching out to Cuisinart about this and possibly getting a replacement. I’ll admit I was new to espresso making upon receiving this machine, had never made it before. Frankly, I’m not too impressed with that function. Seems you only get a little trickle of espresso in a cup from a pod. And then you have to steam the milk, which is a minor pain and as others suggested, the wand should not be as low as it is. It’s just not convenient. I did see some complaints regarding the coffee on the big pot side, overflowing onto peoples’ kitchen counters. If I had to guess it was probably because they were putting too many scoops of coffee into the filter basket. If you refer to the owners manual, it says 15 scoops max per pot, which leads me to believe that some people are just putting way too many scoops in and that’s why it’s overflowing onto their counter. It specifically says in the owners manual that if you exceed the maximum number of scoops in the pot, you will experience overflow. And as other reviewers have also experienced, I have also had issues with the lid not opening after brewing an espresso. I had to fiddle with the lid a little bit, and it was able to just pry it open. But you shouldn’t have to do this. Honestly, this four and one is decent, but I can’t give a five star rating nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The only plus is it comes with a three-year warranty, which is good.

There is a 3 year Manufacturers Warranty on these
So I love this coffee pot and its features and at this price point. I searched for this combo of features before purchasing this one and couldn’t find it anywhere else. Everything either had way more for a lot more or only 3 of the 4 features. I struggled between 3 to 4 stars. We have had it for just under 1 year and are in the process of getting a replacement direct from the company. I wanted to address a few things for others that might be helpful.1) Cleaning: the instructions are incorrect but I figured out, if the “clean” light is on, scroll the Start/Stop Function knob to where you can see BOTH Espresso AND POD highlighted but no sizes are. That is how you “select Clean.”2) We too kept getting overflow of water so we started punching the kcup twice and that seemed to help.3) Finally, we are unable to open the espresso and pod area at all now. No amount of prying works so we started calling the manufacturer. They were not a ton of help at first, suggesting plug and unplug, prying it hard, etc.4) BUT THEN we realized there’s a 3 year warranty on these (not sure why Amazon isn’t required to post that and a link to the manufacturer contact info) BUT it’s true and we are now getting a new one.5) Getting a replacement within the warranty: I don’t know all the ins and outs of what qualifies but certainly being unable to open the pod area allowed us to get a new one. We have to cut the cord of our existing one, send a picture of it to them, then they will send a replacement. It will take 7-10 days so might be rough if it’s your only machine but that’s that. :)
