Naissance Citronella Essential Oil (No. 182) - 100ml - Pure, Natural, and Undiluted - for Aromatherapy, Massage Blend & Diffusers - Calming and Refreshing Aroma

I'm no stranger to aromatherapy oils and have tried various ones over the years via either a candle burner or diffuser and there is a broad difference in quality, I am happy to say that this one is a surprisingly good quality oil. Ive seen a few comments about it being watered down, at this price point id be amazed if it wasn't, still I am very pleasantly surprised with the overall strength and quality, I really wasn't expecting much seeing as lavender is a rather expensive oil and this being so cheap. A little goes a long way and alongside 300ml about 5 or 6 drops in a diffuser on low setting and the house is full of that fresh relaxing purple lavender smell, 8 to 10 drops or more and the smell is very strong, lulling you into a blissful sense of peace and relaxation. Lavender is great for aromatherapy, particularly to help ease busy minds so if your after an oil that will help with relaxation and sleep I would recommend this one in particular. As for the brand, I have not heard of Naissance before, however I am impressed and will probably try some other scents in the future. I've yet to try it over candlelight but in lavender especially, the cheaper brands let of a horrible smokey smell that certainly brings about a lavender smell but isn't at all pleasant - its a scent hard to get right on a budget. Absolutely no complaints here though, in fact its the first sub £15 lavender oil I've found that I've enjoyed! The quantity is huge for £12 too (either oils have got much cheaper over the last few years or this is genuinely a bargain). I havnt tried other scents thus far so I cant say for certain on the brand, lavender is 5 star though and looking forward to trying some other scents in the future!

A few drops on my pillow and it puts me right to sleep. It irritates my skin a little but I’m sure it’s because I’m not using it on a diffuser. The scent itself is super strong. The purest lavender essential oil I’ve ever used. Only giving it 4 stars as the smell is terribly strong for my personal liking but it works as described and creates a relaxing atmosphere before bedtime.

So I've been purchasing this brand for acouple of years now from Amazon many different oils and I've never had any complaints until now, so firstly I've noticed they've recently changed there labeling on the bottles and there head office is now Berlin when before on all my other bottles it was always the UK so I'm not sure what's going on but trust me on this that the product there selling now 2025/2026 is definitely not 100% essence oil as its been diluted with a carrier oil and it's not even stating that it's a 100% essence oil so there you have it and if you read other reviewers are complaining about the quality, I've tested this Patchouli oil on cotton paper and it should absorb the oil within seconds but it didn't and after 2 minutes the oil was still settled on top of the paper which means it has a carrier oil added to it so it's not 100% pure , what a shame and now looks like il be finding another brand as I have no trust now in this Naissance brand unfortunately as I want to buy with confidence knowing what I'm buying and putting on my skin. there's literally hardly any scent in this oil if you could say 100% is what it should be I'd say this is about a 10% so very diluted . :(( UPDATE so I've just purchased the ylang ylang as I've purchased it before atleast 5 times now in the past but now I definitely know they have changed there ingredients as I've just compared the new bottle I've just purchased with there old stock from 2024 and this new stock with the new white labelling is nothing like ylang ylang it literally seems like chemicaly and more like a faint clove chemical smell and nothing like ylang ylang and believe me when I saying this as I've been using ylang ylang all of 35 years since back in the 1990's so you could say I'm old school as I've used it all my life for Anxiety as the scent has a calming effect but this new stock there trying to pass off is just terrible, looks like Naissance company has changed suppliers and all I can say is what a shame as the quality is just definitely not there anymore like other reviewers are saying, what a shame, plus there contact address is now in Berlin EU UPDATE so I reached out to the supplier on there website and after waiting 7 days for a reply they asked me for the batch numbers so they can investigate the product and I've heard nothing from them since I replied to them and it's been another week and nothing so looks like there customer services is none exsistant, obviously Naissance don't really care about there customers, il never give them my cash ever again, I'm done

This oil is very good value smells great , will purchase this again most definately
