I sleep hot, & my husband doesn’t! We live in southern Washington state, & who has two thumbs & night sweats? THIS GIRL! I slept like a freaking princess with this baby going on my side of the bed. This morning when I woke, the temp screen showed 64. The room itself wasn’t 64, but my side of the room was quite cool & comfy.Update: still loving it. I’ve seen reviews complaining about the gel packs & you don’t refill those, just freeze & reuse. So don’t be an idiot. Second, I’ve taken to putting ice cubes in the tank & then adding the water to the line & I am pleased with it. I run it 24/7 & the chill feature overnight. The bedroom gets to about 77 in the summer, & so I start the chiller when I make dessert after supper, then cap it all off before bed, & it’s a dream.Also note! YOU ARE NOT BUYING AN A/C UNIT!! This is a fan that cools on its own, & cools a little more with the chill feature. It provides white noise for sleep, which is also nice.

Okay this works well as a fan, but the cooling function does not work at all. I used a thermometer to test it over a two week period and my small room never got cooler with the “ac” function. There is no difference than just running the fan. Disappointed. For the price I would not buy again.

Little loud, but will work all day no problems. Pump works great, just not a fan of tank area slightly small and have to use smaller ice packs and remote is tiny and cheap.

Tested this evaporative fan as soon as I got it, took 1 week to arrive. While assembling the base I noticed one of the plastic tabs connecting the 2 semi circles together was broken; so I could only screw 1 half of it together.The fan alone was nice, but I bought it for the cooling evaporative feature. So I tested it out by filling the bottom tub with cool sink water a little above the min line. Turned it on and didn’t really notice a difference but I thought I’d let it run for a few hours to test further. To my surprise a few hours later the tank was almost empty and my carpet underneath was completely soaked! The water had somehow pumped to the base of the fan where ALL of the water ended up on the base of the fan and my carpet. Pretty dangerous.As I was drying the base to get it ready to ship back I unscrewed and opened the back where the medium is that is supposed to get wet in order to get the cooling effect, and it was bone dry!! None of the water was ever directed properly. I’m not sure if I just got a defective device or not so I put in a request for a replacement. Hopefully this was a one off situation, otherwise I will send the replacement back for a refund and have to find another option.The fan modes were not something I’d use besides whatever the happy face setting is, normal mode I guess. 3 speeds for the fan seemed powerful enough for my rooms that aren’t too large. Noise level was relatively low, but my device was defective so can’t be too sure. Oscillate mode was nice, pretty wide coverage. Remote was ok, had to point directly at device. Buttons on top not super responsive, you really have to push to get a response. Base seemed pretty flimsy, made of plastic and arrived broken. The water pump is screwed in to the water tank, which is a hassle for dumping and cleaning.As for the ice packs, some people seem to be confused by the gel like substance inside after adding water. This is normal, it works like any other freezer pack after adding water to the flakes that are inside the containers and freezing. No need to dump it out, just continue to refreeze.As for right now I was delivered a really expensive fan, which is not what I paid for.Will update after replacement comes in.

The media could not be loaded. This fan is pretty cool! It’s a pretty good tower fan but also has a water cooling system that makes the air flow much cooler. It came with two empty ice packs that we filled and froze overnight. Make sure to fill the tank between the min and max line but leave enough space for the ice packs. I recommend you put the ice packs first then fill so you don’t overfill. The fan has 3 speeds, there’s not much difference in the low and medium but the wind type is really nice. That way it’s not always blowing straight at you and give the feel of natural wind. You can turn on and off the water cooling option. It has a time that goes up to 8 hours!! That’s the most I’ve ever had in a fan. And lastly for features, it oscillates with good range. All in all, I love this fan. It’s going to be so helpful during the summer months!

It seems like it’s only a fan function. I’ve tried lowering the temperature and it stays around 78. Too warm for an a/c. Trying to figure out how to make the air cooler.

The manufacturer was very responsive and sent a new unit. The first unit was only one month old. They did not want me to return the first one. Neither of them cools the room. Even after putting two ice packs and full water, it did not cool the room. My money is wasted. They have given me two units and I don't feel comfortable to ask for a refund.They need to change the design and make it work as it is supposed to be, cool the area.

This fan works well, it's great! It has 3 settings for speed and 1&2 are very quiet. #3 is much louder but the power is also strong. The oscillating part turns faster than other fans and the humidity setting DOES use quite a bit of water so I only recommend using on very dry days. The tank where you can place ice or ice packs works perfectly and does NOT leak any water (hard to find in a cooling fan) and I recommend this product. It's helped ease the intense heat on extreme hot days (which will only become more extreme with climate change). Great purchase.
