Perfect! Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this grill! Almost bought the Oklahoma Joe brand, but this was almost half the price. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. One old lady assembled it in about 40 min.Comes with recipes and great tips. I seasoned the entire grill, inside and out, with a light coating of vegetable oil and sprayed the grates down well. Temp got to the max with no signs of damage whatsoever. Keep the charcoal in the middle for high temps, then spread out to cook. Enjoy your summer!

Best grill I've ever owned and it's easy to put together

This is a really nice grill/smoker combo.Grilled salmon, fresh whitefish, you name it!This is a well designed grill, cast iron grill inserts really distribute heat evenly.Perfect portable grill with handy thermometer and heat safe handles.A midsized grill that cooks like a big grill!

It's fine, that's all I can say. It's a pain to assemble, and the materials are, well you got what you pay for. I doubt it will last more than 2 seasons. And the ash tray is pathetically designed. You have to have a jury-rigged ash removal process uz it's too shallow and when you pull if out, oh brother, a mess. Got it as a stand by to my Traeger which of course, doesdnt get hot enough to sear. Also, and finally, the grill raise/lower mechanism is ridiculously flimsy and from day one never leveled correctly. Caveat emptor

The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for camping or small spaces. I like the convenience of my 6 burner gas grill with ceramic searer and rotisserie, but I really miss the flavor and fun of cooking with charcoal. I also wanted something that I could use at home and bring along when we go camping. I wanted something with cast iron grates and this looked like the perfect option. It has exceeded my expectations to say the least. Took less than an hour to set up and we were cooking. I did the recommended pre-grill and I did a light coat of oil on the grates. There are 2 levels for the coal tray and grill vent and smoke cover to control heat. I love the silicone handles!!! The grill has a good weight to it. Not too heavy and bulky, but heavy enough to feel that it is quality made. I was able to fit 9 quarter pound frozen burgers on at one time to give you a reference. I plan to use this grill often. If you’re in the market for a small portable grill, you will not be disappointed.

I assembled the grill last night and it was fairly easy. My only complaints are that part number (17) the tray at the very bottom for the ashes was bent/twisted in several places. I had to bend/reshape it so that it would slid into the slots at the bottom. The other issue I had was there were no cotter pins (Part E) in the hardware package for the hinge pins. The hardware package did have a section for the pins but it was empty even tho it was sealed. I'll leave another review once I season the grill and cook on it today. The right side of the lid doesn't close flush with the bottom leaving a 1/4 inch gap. I loosened all the screws on all four sides and also removed the hinge pins in an attempt to get it to securely close. No amount of pushing adjusting allowed me to seal the lid to the bottom portion of the grill. The vendor recently compensated me for the problem I have with the lid alignment. I removed the lid and did some bending/twisting on it, the flushness/fit is better now. The gap is still there but it's smaller and I'm able keep most of the smoke inside where it belongs. This grill performs well, i am happy with the way my steaks, baby backs and burgers turned out. I'm hoping it with last a long time, I purchased a cover for it and it will be stored inside during the winter.

Great outside grill smoker for inexpensive cost. The size is great to cook 8 chamber patties a dozen or more hot dogs, 8 chicken breast, or a slab if ribs. The side kick is great as well. The heat distribution is as any other expensive smoker! This is my opinion. I got this smoker grill for my son as a Fathers Day gift. He truly loves it and cooks on it every few days.The grill is very easy to assemble, instructions was clear and if you have trouble assembling it there are several videos on You Tube to guide you.

If you're a charcoal cooker, very cool for tabletop. Big enough for group cooking. Hinges on top were mis-aligned so it wouldn't close securely, and was sent a new lid very quickly. Adjustable height makes it more economical for grilling foods with shorter cooking times.
