***UPDATE*** These under the dress shorts are holding up very well and I’m still happy with this purchase. I bought two sets of these to reduce washes. They still look brand new and I wear them often, maybe an average of 3 times a week. I wash in cold water and hang/line dry, which they dry very fast, and show no wear or tear on them. No strings nor snags, and still very comfortable to wear with a nice stretch to them. Highly recommend if you need something like this. Top notch imo, but remember, these are not like spanx to slim you down. They do make your dresses and skirts lay properly and not bunch. Very lightweight. ————————————————————- I live in Florida and always wear dresses. I saw these type of dress shorts advertised and went looking for them. I read reviews and bought a set to try. I am amazed at the fit and how comfortable they are. I am 5’4” and 210lb, I bought XXL. These are thin and do not curl or roll up at the waist nor the legs. They do not make me sweat at all and keeps my dresses from clinging to me when I stand up after sitting for awhile. No more pulling at the back of skirts and dresses to have them hang properly. No issue pulling them down and back up either. They don’t stick to my skin, so no fighting with them. I just ordered a second set so I don’t have to wash them every other day. Very happy with these dress shorts and price is good for getting a set of three.

Soft and stretchy! Feels like good quality and doesn’t show seams through clothing. Also not see-through. Love them and will be wearing them under my costume for a show!

Nice quality and price. The shorts don't press, fit well, feel discreet, disguise and smooth out what they should. I liked the quality of the fabric. They stretch and tighten exactly the way I need - they don’t over-tighten or squeeze, but they keep their shape. I wear it under skirts and dresses. No complaints/

I have only tried one on so far, but it fit as expected for its size, felt comfortable, and will be a welcome addition on hot days when you want that "skort" feeling under a summer dress. Definitely a great value for the price!

I am 5’1”, weigh 185 and ordered the 2XL. When I pulled them out of the package I thought, “You’ve got to be kidding.” They looked so small! I was pleasantly surprised though as they stretched very nicely. I washed them in a garment bag and hung them to dry, then packed them to wear underneath sundresses for our trip to the Dominican Republic. These were far more comfortable than I expected and my sundresses did not stick to them! I did not get hot, but keep in mind the temp was only in the mid-70’s with some humidity and there was a constant breeze. I did find that the waistband does roll, but that did not bind me or make it feel uncomfortable. I couldn’t rate the sheerness as it depends on the color. The black is not sheer and could be worn as shorts. The beige and white are somewhat sheer and it’s debatable as to whether they could be worn as shorts (you would have to wear the same color underwear). I won’t be wearing them alone so they suited my needs perfectly!

love these for under dresses, they’re a nice extra layer and prevent chafing well. however, they’re completely see through, so if you aren’t wearing underwear that match your skin tone and you end up with a little wardrobe malfunction or try to wear these as bike shorts, there will be some visibility. overall a good budget option for under dresses, but don’t purchase to wear on their own.

Over the years, I've purchased several sets of many brands of knit shorts to wear under dresses & skirts to prevent chafing and outfit malfunctions. I've realized that I keep coming back to this brand, and decided it was time to buy extras, so I don't miss them when they're in the wash. I was shocked to realize I've owned the current set for over 2 years! They still have the elasticity & strength to provide a subtle slimming effect while keeping me comfy, and they don't cause me to be overly warm & sweat. Oh and they don't static cling to my outer garment, so I remain comfy & unembarrassed all day.
