Great quality and great fun!
I bought this to add to my collection of percussion instruments. Used this at a Christmas music party.Love it! Had such fun playing along with some amazing Christmas music highly recommended

Solid build, nicely weighted, nice sharp sound that cuts through.

Nice loud sound
Buying a cabasa turned out to be rather like Goldilocks and the three bears. The first one was too large (and heavy and uncomfortable to hold). The second was ridiculously small (with a feeble sound that barely carried the length of the room, let alone a concert venue). This one was JUST RIGHT!! The handle was a little loose on arrival but just needed tightening up. The handle has a soft grip which makes it easy to hold comfortably. The metal beads slide easily around the head with a satisfying rasping noise, even when just twisting the handle. However when played correctly cupped in the other hand, it makes a super loud sound which is perfect for our band. The head diameter is 11cm.

Very heavy
This is much bigger and heavier than I thought. Adult size when I had wanted it for a 2 yr old.. although I’m sure she will grow to love it
