Premium Fiji Noble Kava Root Powder 16 Oz/1LB

As someone who's tried all sorts of kava and done plenty of research on the plant, this is easily my favorite kava powder out there. I'm really surprised it's not quite at 5/5 stars because it ticks every box for me. In my kava, I look for a lasting, potent product to help with anxiety and to give a good buzz in the evenings without having to use too much product. Considering this, this is the best powder I've found yet, and for a far more reasonable price than the others I've tried which were of lower quality despite being more expensive. At the moment of writing this review, it's around $23, which is a very good price. If you have Prime and have free delivery, this is a steal.The kava comes in a vacuum-sealed bag, which you have to cut open with scissors. It's very satisfying to break apart the cube and it barely takes any effort to do so. In comes with a little clamp to tightly close the bag back up. Having vacuum-sealed powder is a big luxury to me, as most kava products just come in a simple pouch — which is usually fine — but having vacuum-sealed product does a lot to ease that little bit of worry of product going bad, and it does a lot of work in terms of presentation.PLEASE RESEARCH KAVA BEFORE BUYING KAVA PRODUCTS.I noticed many of the poorer reviews are from people who are unfamiliar with kava and don't know what to expect from it. Many of the things people are complaining about are aspects of the plant itself that are completely unchangeable, such as the taste. Kava does not taste good. There are recipes you can use to make it taste better, but on its own, it's widely considered to taste bad. Please consider this before leaving a bad review because the fault is not on the producers of the powder and there's nothing anyone can do about that.On top of that, make sure you have a proper way to strain the kava and make sure you are familiar with the process of making the tea. It's not a complicated process at all, but I know some people are making it incorrectly and judging this high-quality product unfairly as a result.Here's how I usually make my kava tea: I put two large spoonfuls of the powder into my strainer, close it up, and bring a pot of water to a boil. I'll then put the kava-filled strainer into the boiling water and let it boil for maybe two minutes. (There are rumors that boiling water destroys the kavalactones, but these are false. Boiling water activates more kavalactones, making the beverage stronger, but also making the beverage more starchy, so take that into consideration.) After that, I put the strainer in a wide bowl, open the strainer, and pour the hot water directly onto the kava powder, and then I seal the strainer again. I then wait about 10 minutes so that the water cools off enough for me to massage the strainer without burning myself. Massaging the strainer is very important. You want to squeeze all of the fluids into your bowl and continuously do so for a good few minutes. I then like to heat up some high-fat milk to add into the mix because kavalactones like to bind to fat, making a stronger beverage. This also helps thin the drink out if I didn't put enough water into the pot and it becomes too sludgy. After all of that, I pour it into a drink and sip away 👍Again, this is by far my favorite kava powder yet and it works wonders for managing my anxiety disorder. I happen to be the kind of person who sees a lot of benefit from the usage of this plant and I drink it every day, so I'd really like to have the best possible product at the cheapest possible price, and this is definitely the best of the best for me.I recommend this product to continuous and experienced users of kava, and I recommend it to people just looking to try it out, but again, please do your research! This was my first experience with kava, up until now I had only tried the extract pills were are notoriously ineffective. I'm happy to report that this kava was VERY potent!Did exactly what it was supposed to, I followed the instructions that came with the product, strained it with an old t-shirt, made the tea and gulped it down it increments. The taste really wasn't all that aggressive and I'm not good with bad tastes at all. Bitter but not nearly as bad as I had anticipated.Super happy with this kava, I slept like an absolute baby... which is what I purchased it for. If I were to try and summarize the feeling it would be something akin to a muscle relaxer but with no hangover. In fact, I wasn't able to finish all of the grog before I just got really tired and went to sleep (but in a good way).Very strong very real kava direct from the source. Couldn't be happier with it, a great tool for the self care arsenal.

This is one of the better kavas that Amazon has to offer the packaging and labeling is really nice.. The strength is pretty decent, but unfortunately, it tastes like it’s been sitting in a warehouse for a few years.. this makes it hard to drink in large quantities and more nauseating. I tried the gold labeled one from this same company, they sell here it’s more expensive.. I thoroughly enjoyed that product a lot more. It felt a lot more fresh, however, for the price this one is still good.

This stuff is awesome! Follow the Instructions, super easy. Best to buy a cheesecloth tea bag, I got mine off amazon as well. Look up, powder bag strainer, and they pop up. I like my kava on cold water with ice. Yes it's earthy, BUT reminds me of unsweet tea, more like macha tea. The initial drink has a "bad" favor, but no aftertaste. Easy for me to drink it regardless. Marijuana has a taste, so it's not too bad for me to drink this. As someone who has a job now that gets randomly texted for THC, this is a great substitute. You don't get super "high" BUT it does numb the lips, and relax you enough to where you feel "high"For sure helps me sleep. Today I felt anxious after not getting enough sleep, drink some of this and feel so much better. Would reccomend it to anyone who needs a THC substitute. I work at a job that tests on the federal level for drugs, this does not effect that at all. I have tried the pull forms and did not get the same effect from those. This is potent, and we'll worth it. Buy it now! Authentic as far as I can tell.The price is reasonable in comparison to a dispensary etc. Go for it!

Product doesn’t give much comfort. Won’t buy again. Ordered only one package. But received another the next month and was billed for it. I had the stop all orders. The vendor will keep send it until you say stop. Very upset about this way of doing business.

I didn't feel any effects poor, didn't help sleep, need strainer to make, might work for someone else
