Great corn tortilla substitute!
I’ve been looking for a keto-friendly substitute for corn tortillas and have finally found it! My local grocery store sells low carb flour tortillas, but those don't work when I want to make enchiladas. But this mix makes a great corn tortilla replacementTheyre also very easy and the video is super helpful.

Taste okay but too Expensive!
I managed to make some enchiladas with these tortillas, and surprisingly, they tasted pretty good. While not quite the same as actual corn tortillas, they were pretty close. They are easy to make—I simply followed the instructions on the back and used lard as directed. I did notice that they taste a bit saltier than regular corn tortillas, but it’s not overpowering. I wouldn’t recommend using them for tacos because the texture feels a bit synthetic to me, but for enchiladas, they work very well. It might have been the sauce and ingredients masking the flavor. You can also see the size of the tortilla in my hand for reference.Four hours after eating, I took a ketones test and found I was still in ketosis, so these tortillas are indeed keto-friendly and safe to eat in the right proportions (I only ate six). Overall, I would give them 4 stars, mainly because the price is quite high. I will definitely be eating these from time to time

A game-changer
As a long-time fan of Mexican food, I was thrilled to come across this low carb tortilla mix. With the rising trend in health-conscious eating, it's great to see a product that keeps up with health demands without compromising on taste.Upon receiving the product, I noticed its packaging is both eye-catching and informative. It lists all the essential nutritional information as well as simple instructions for preparing perfect tortillas every time.In terms of texture, these tortillas are nothing short of amazing. They have the characteristic softness and pliability that you expect from traditional tortillas while maintaining a deliciously authentic taste. Moreover, these low carb tortillas did not disappoint when I used them in various dishes such as enchiladas, tacos, and quesadillas. They held up perfectly during cooking without falling apart or becoming soggy.Even for those not on a low carb diet, this product adds an excellent alternative to regular tortillas as it maintains all their positive qualities while reducing the carbohydrate content. In conclusion, this low carb tortilla mix is truly a game changer for anyone who has been longing for that authentic Mexican dish without worrying about excessive carbs consumption. So tasty! Low carb and delicious
The media could not be loaded. This tortilla mix was pretty easy to put together. It calls for a tablespoon of lard, but we substituted for butter and they turned out fine. We added a bit of regular flour as well to thicken up the dough and make it easier to pat out. It made about six regular size tortilla shells, I think the 12 count on the bag as if you were making street taco-sized tortillas. It took about an hour in total to make them, between mixing the dough, chilling it in the fridge, putting out the tortillas and cooking them. I found it much easier to pat them out with my hands, rather than using the rolling pin, which tended to just stick to the dough. I also used a silicone baking sheet to flatten them on and it was really easy to peel them off this way.

Yummy tortillas
The mix is easy to use with only water and lard (I used butter) needed to finish the recipe. Once mixed, it needs to be chilled before dividing and flattening the dough. I had difficulty at first figuring out how to best flatten the tortillas. The dough is sticky and I had a mess. I ended up placing a dough ball between two pieces of parchment paper and flattening, then turning out the dough onto a griddle. I was glad to have the griddle where I could put three tortillas at a time because they take a while to brown and doing one at a time would have meant a long wait between tortillas. The taste was goods, and the tortillas were pliable enough that we were able to fold them around the meat and vegetables we put inside. For those looking for a low carb/keto option for tortillas, this is a good choice.
