This is my new favorite scrub! After using it every other day for about 2 weeks, I really notice a difference in my overall skin. The smell and feel of the product is amazing. Remember you always use after you wash your face. I recommend this for sure!

This product delivers!

I usually stay away from abrasive physical exfoliants, opting instead for chemical treatments that more gently encourage cell turnover. But now I've discovered a GENTLE exfoliating scrub with this mask by Blue Lagoon Iceland! I love how simple and unassuming the packaging is. It's in a tube, like toothpaste or acrylic paint or something. As basic and pedestrian as the tube might seem, what's inside is pretty special. It's a black volcanic clay mask with a super fine exfoliating grit from THE Blue Lagoon in Iceland, a spot I've always wanted to visit. It feels really good to use, but the first time I was afraid to see how red my face would be afterwards. Surprise! It wasn't red at all, really. This mask is shockingly gentle, and left my face feeling so fresh and clean and soft and new! I loved how it looked and how it felt. And speaking of how it felt, you don't have to worry about who suffered for your pampering because all Blue Lagoon products are vegan and 100% cruelty-free! This mask is expensive, but it might be worth paying more for, especially if it's reserved as a special treat or used in preparation for special events. That's how I'll be using this stuff, anyway, because I probably can't afford to buy more when it's gone. Fortunately, a little goes a long way, and I think this tube will last me a good while. If your finances are looser than mine, though, this is a spectacular way to treat yourself to some Icelandic pampering and seriously good skincare!

I love a good exfoliating mask, and this one is actually a really good one. They found the perfect balance between not being so abrasive that scratches your skin, yet being abrasive enough to actually physically exfoliate. I can definitely tell the difference after I use this in both luxe and feel. My skin looks much smoother and more radiant, and my pores look uncongested. It also leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth. No, of course we have to talk about that price… That price is insanity in my opinion. I don’t mind spending a decent amount of money on skincare I mean I bought 60 $70 moisturizers before quite frequently, so I get it. But $90 for an exfoliating face scrub/mask… I’m not seeing anything in the ingredients list that actually justify that, and while I see pretty decent results, it’s not life-changing either. Then again, keep in mind that I’m a single mom that works two jobs and has like no savings so I don’t have money to drop on something like this. But if you do by all means, it’s a great exfoliating mask!
