The idea is stellar and I expect it to be a time saver.

Works as advertised

This tool flat out doesn't work for 12 gauge wire unless the wire is stripped. I did not have a single fully successful 3x 12 gauge wire twist with it. Using stripped 14 gauge wire it consistently performs flawlessly. If you are using 12 gauge wire you can use a hand file to blunt the cutting edges that are supposed to strip the wires, because the edges will instead grab the copper and break the wire instead of twisting it. Using this I was able to attain modest success, but I would frankly not recommend this for 12 gauge wire.

I went through 8' of wire and still could not get one twisted pair as shown in the video. At best, two twisted but one was not stripped. It was stripped wire wrapped around an insulated wire. Worthless at any price. Get your self a good pair of electrician's pliers instead.

This worked great for mounting my 8' game fence to the posts. It really saved my wrists from hours and hours of twisting by hand. Twists 12ga. Wire with ease. Thank you!!
