I ordered this item based upon the product picture, the description, AND the product reviews.I'm a weather hobbyist (been one since I was ten years old) and had to replace our old indoor digital weather station display which was no longer working properly (outside temperature indicator failed).We had it for over two years and (now) saw the need for a replacement.I saw this one that I ordered at a very reasonable price. It arrived on time and followed the directions very carefully. When reading the directions slowly........... it works like a charm!It is a "welcome (perfect) addition" to my Accu-Rite Rain gauge 5" indoor display panel. It sits on the table right next to the weather station. No more going outside (like the good ole' days) and checking a mercurial thermometer every hour. Don't miss those days, especially in the winter! LOLMy wife even commented that the display is much, much bigger, easier to read, and understand! The older version had "a slew of information" on the bottom row and was difficult to understand. It was also smaller and made by a different manufacturer.Thank you... Amazon for what you folks do!

Unit worked as specified. Liked it so much that I purchased my son a weather station. Use my unit everyday to plan my day..

This was fairly easy to set up and is very easy to read, but the forecast is almost always wrong. For instance the last two days it's shown rain, and it's sunny and 78F here. Inaccurate.

I am impressed with everything about this product, including how quickly it arrived.! I appreciate all the information it provides, how easy it was to set up, and the great display.

Got this for my man cave. Works great and the display is nice.

I own the smaller version of this - I bought it a couple years ago. It worked great but the outdoor unit eventually failed. It was weathered too much apparently - I probably shouldn't have hung it on a tree.So anyway I tried to purchase a replacement for the outdoor unit only to continue using it but did not find it for sale alone. I did see that this weather station used the same item so I bought it. Now I have the new set working great, and additionally the older indoor unit (located in a different room of the house) also gets the outdoor info from the new outdoor unit.

I constantly have to go outside and bring the unit in to reset it. I just wish it wasn’t past the return date because I would definitely want a refund. So much for comparison shopping and relying on other people’s information. Not a good product.
